On the Dragons, I kind of think they may have made some solid moves with their turnover. Out with guys who didn't want to be there and in with professionals who know how to play. I won't be surprised if Gutho is their 6, he is younger than Ben Hunt and a different kind of competitor (at club level). Him and Cook make a big difference to their spine. Holmes is all class, and could be dynamic out wide for them.

It is a dad's army type scenario, but they have a bunch of young talented players already and needed some vets who know how to win games.

I think Cook and Gutho may have forgotten in the past year. BTW did you know Cook used to be a beach sprinter?

Farewell Gutho, one of the hardest working players I had ever seen. Really never let us down. Will not be one of the greats but was paid like one to which is why he needed to go in the end. Also his body was failing. I Would’ve liked one more season but it is what it is.

Faalogo from Melb should be the one we break the bank for.

Firstly I’d like to thank Guth for his service, he was one of the greatest warriors this club has seen. If some of his team mates had half his ticker the club might not have needed such a clean out.

Secondly how refreshing it is to see a coach with the balls to make some tough decisions and do what’s best for the club and not In their or their families self interests. Big Dong Jace lives up to his name, massive calls that will make or break him but showing he knows what’s needing to be done. I wanted Hannay but he was happy to work with the staff we had here so there is no way her was going to be so ruthless and make these big calls.

The King has left the building...

Au Revoir to an absolute warrior..

easily the toughest player to wear our jersey since Price, the guy absolutely destroyed his body for us and all honesty, Saints may get some benefits out of next season but I think it will be his last decent year of footy, we were the onse that squeezed every bit of effort and quality of him.

as far as I'm concerned he is and will always will be a club legend.

Gutherson will eventually retire without a premiership. Especially now.

I f**king Love Gutho and good luck to him making as much money as possible before he retires. If I was him I'd spend 2 seasons in the UK Superleague after your Dragons deal. Go travel while making some more cash.

Anyhow the Dragons are stupid for signing up old players though Cook/Gutho even the Holmes isn't good value.

I know you need experience but I don't think this is the formula..

How much would Lussick be on? Maybe we can replace him with Brailey using some of the freed up cash to cover the difference. Still should have enough money after that to sign at least 1 possibly 2 decent players.
