Round ten ffs! Oh wait, it was only round one."I think it was important that he took as much time as he needed."

Really? Based on one game?Well we will get to see today which on of Brown or Galvin are the better player
Ryles sounds absolutely shattered.......
Alan Bond moments don't come around twiceRound ten ffs! Oh wait, it was only round one.
The point is whether or not it's all on the salary cap.Dad there or not he would command the highest $$$ if he was to go to market.
They would all be in the highest tax bracket anyway, and the more tax he's paying the more he can benefit from negative gearing his investments.I don't think dad would want to be paying extra tax if Nathan is getting extra through his dad.
Again, the club that pays his salary is also paying a close family member a huge sum of money outside the salary cap for players.Cleary deserves what he gets as he has achieved everything bar maybe owning Origin
The Roosters have been brilliant at recruitment/retention ever since Politis took over the club. They are never down for long.Weasel words with "middle". There are two NRL standard props in that list. Roosters are in trouble in the middle and it is entirely the coach's fault, which is the point of the discussion.

If he had any interest I would bring him in for the rest of the reason. He is versatile.Bevan French is an interesting name drop.
Arguably a more dangerous runner than Brown, but is is ball-playing up to it at NRL standard?
And what about his defence?
I haven't watched enough Super League to know.
I think he has no interest in coming back to the NRL...I think he should so he can get as far away from BA as possible...unless he just wants to get that satisfaction of beating leeds time and time againIf he had any interest I would bring him in for the rest of the reason. He is versatile.
The Roosters have had an academy set up in NZ for probably 10years, they train and prepare junior talent and some of them get flown over to play Matts and Ball . Believe they may have one on the South Island too.with thier list, they shouldn't be down at all

And, importantly could play 7 as well as 6.Love Deardon and he would be an ideal Drown replacement. He's 100% effort every damn week. But he is under contract until 2028 or 2029 I believe....

The point isn't about their current squad. It's about the average quality of their squad year after year. Some merkin posted about their junior recruitment here: https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/threads/roosters-sg-ball-alumni.493350/with thier list, they shouldn't be down at all
Be careful, that merkin can be quite confusingThe point isn't about their current squad. It's about the average quality of their squad year after year. Some merkin posted about their junior recruitment here: https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/threads/roosters-sg-ball-alumni.493350/

Me Too !!I'd welcome Galvin with open arms. He oozes class.
i reckon forget Bevan. Find one of the current juniors get him tackling and tackling and when he is ready, put him in. Get Moses to play from both sides and demanding the ball most plays ala Cleary. We also have many others like Hopgood who can take some the pressure off Moses. The youngster can then drift around following Moses in attack but will be able to hold his own in defenseBevan French is an interesting name drop.
