So, you defend the players basically yelling “f**k off now” to a19 year old player and then you manage to come up with a dipsy theory that you should demand rep level players or Intls in some sort of return. Have a good hard look at the core of players that have opted for a gangsta style attitude, may work for a while but will cause problems .

seriously like most tigers fans you have become deluded after winning a few games, there used to be a bit of likeability to the Leichhardt faithful, the recent actions and comments from their fans certainly moved the goalposts.

Tigers are not at Dogs level yet, but by their attitude it’s where they want to do.

Are the Tigers not allowed to ask for whatever they like in a deal?

Tigers will leverage the f**k out of this situation, whether we or another team like it or not.

Tigers will use whatever fits the narrative to maximise the return on whatever deal is agreed upon, much like I hope Parra would.

If we win the spoon

Does it add to Joffa's collection of spoons he has won since 2020 even though he leaves midway through.

Brisbane - 2020
Tigers - 2022, 2023
Eels - 2025 ????
I’m sure the spoon hall of fame will honour this man. A f**king legend when it came to shitery. He was the Trojan horse ent or is by the Tigers. I called out his shitery from day dot.

Finally a coach that doesn’t put up with a shit player. One of the worst signings in eels history. A wooden spoon veteran finally gone. More respect for Ryles.

I assume that's why he also was playing Matto and Lane and a few other Merkins in first grade this year to show any new club the players availability..

Joe wasn't the worse player in our current roster.

I doubt we resign a few Merkins who's contract ends this year. Kelman is on that list.

What you are talking about would effectively be transfer fees and that has nothing to do with Terry Hill. Dennis Tutty sued the league and transfer fees were found illegal restraint of trade.

The problem with transfer fees and your suggestion above is, what is blah?

So Parra want Galvin and Tigers say well we want Mitchell Moses in return. Mitchell Moses doesnt want to come to the Tigers and there are no other players we want, the Tigers say ok, we want money and Parra says no problem, how much? And the Tigers say $12M. Then what?

Effectively it is the same as we do have now. If Galvin wanted to go to Manly and Manly would give us Oloakuatu, he would be at Brookvale by this afternoon. If Galvin wanted to go to any club and they wanted to give the Tigers $12M he would be gone immediately. of course $12M is a ridiculous number but thats the point......there is a right number.
No it’s not really to do with Terry Hill but the draft system is connected. I’m talking more about assignment of contracts I.e. a trade system. At the moment you can’t give Galvin to anyone, nor can anyone send you anyone else in return. You could ask Galvin if he wants to and Manly could ask Haumole if he wants to but if any 1 of the 5 parties (2 players, 2 clubs and NRL) say no then it all falls over. RLPA will argue it’s unfair on players but recent occasions have shown quite a few players are more than willing to show them same level of unfairness the other way.

Hoops is involving us in the speculation of Tigers 19 yo hooker Da Silva.

Don't we have AU Rep Coinakis who is better than him ? In front of him, I am hearing some wraps on QLDer Jack Hudson in Flegg.

Apparently we are in need of a hooker for 2026...

Fairly sure we have Smith who is currently better than Da Silva Coinakis who is currently in our ball squad Aus rep and Hudson in Flegg who is also playing well.

So hooper again talking shit to stir up the Tigers fan base .

What the hell are you talking about? I was responding to 84 Baby's suggest that a club should be able to ask for "blah" in return for letting a player go early. I made the point of what is "blah"? A player? Cash?

And yes to release a player worth $1M near 2 years early would require an international level player. Ill give you a scenario.....
DBrown > Newy
Galvin > Parra
Bradman Best or KPP > Tigers

To be blunt this trying to coerce a player out of contracts 2 years early has to stop....Mitchell Moses, Zac Lomax and now Galvin.

Hopefully we can get Land and Mattonon the same boat as Joffa.

Yeah I was thinking how in my system this scenario may be feasible. Why it also kind of doesn’t work is other than players and cap space and a lesser extent actual cash, there’s nothing else to really trade. There’s no draft system, the cap fairly linear, minimal wiggle room on squad numbers so unless you have 2 players on near identical salary that the alternate clubs want then it’ll be too difficult/risky for any uptake.

Kelma, signed an extension for 2026.

some reason NRL site not showing it, or Russel's extension

If Ryles can fix Kelmas defence he will be a very good player...I like his attack.
Runs good lines and hard to bring down.
Defence has always been his issue.. fix that, occasional issue with his hands but there is definitely a Footballer there

Da Silva (20 this year) is a very good promising rookie, better than Hudson (same age) and Coinakis (1 year younger).

De Silva, debuted at 18.

Would happily block the pathway of Hudson/Coinakis for a Smith/ Da Silva combo...

updated - pretty sure Coinakis only 1 year younger

Watched all these recently all different types of hookers in my book.

Coinakis and Da Silva are similar though Coinakis better defence and nice kicking game for some one that has only played up to Ball at this stage. Da Silva has better footy awareness at the moment and also has a pretty decent player in the tigers squad to learn from..

Smith and Hudson are very similar and just wont stop and are high effort players Ryles apparently was told by a former NRL player give Hudson a go.

But Smith at the moment is my pick out of all of them so far.
