Dont understand the hate on Joash tbh. Hes been a young player willing to fill any position the club has asked of him and hasnt ever complained. Decent trainer from what ive heard and gives 100% every time hes been on the field. Yes hes not the most talented but hes not a shit player/back up. Im sure playing multiple positions also slows his development. Only 21 years old.

Tbf either is Blaizes and Penrith still seem ok with developing him. Twiddles defense can be fixed with good coaching. It will just take time.

Will we give him any time to develop his defence or are we just going to bitch about his game and then call for his head after 10 games? I would prefer from our juniors we lock up bamblett, lorenzo, lincoln long term and then some of the promising younger guys like bloomfield. Unless Apa is willing to fill a role similar role to joash playing multiple positions i cant see it working

Both seemed to be struggling laterally. Few tries have been leaked through sua this year as just a pace off (guess the whole team is haha) but yeah re watch some of the tries against us .
Few ankle injuries last few years may be coming back to haunt him

At least it’s now more than likely means we are not going to take the JDB option for next year. That’s a bonus. I’d probably still take Papali’i back, he’s a year younger and 11kg heavier.
