Yeah, I’m a fan of Seyfarth’s as well, would be more than happy if Nofa went.
The old saying is, forwards don’t really mature to there late 20’s and he is already a goer, as you said.
I know we've had several coaches and Sayfart has too but the upside of that is different coaches all bring something to the table. Madge expected forwards to be like Sam Burgess and smash it up the middle and is very vocal, and very colourful,, Ivan was the opposite, he was quieter but when he did talk players listened. Sheens/Benji like a little bit of flare/offloads etc.
I've noticed big red has a bit of all this and is slowly improving.
For a big man he's got a bit of toe and works hard.
The only thing I thing I don't like is when he's at second marker he tends to run backwards instead of across.
I see James has been told to look somewhere else. This tells me that he didn't excell when called up nor did he work hard on fitness in KOE???
It's a dog eat dog comp and you have to prove you have what it takes. Take the jersey off James and you won't see a 6 pack and bulging chest/arms/shoulder muscles. Well I doubt it anyway.
I looked at Feledy in the NSW U19 SOO and I saw a bit of a gut and he struggled to keep up.
In his NRL debut nothing had changed. Yes he made a few breaks but that was it.
Successful clubs can bring players in to cover injuries and they do well because they've worked dammed hard in reserves to be ready....if not ready they don't get called up again.
