I don’t have much sympathy for him, but I am looking for the best outcome for the little one and the parents.

That’s him learning his lesson through his wallet.

A lot of people go through hard times, but they don’t use it as an excuse to endanger little kids or the public.

So much for his manager and the bronco ceo. If it was his kid, he wouldn’t be tuning the violins.

I think a lot of people, they hate racism, but understood Spencer was being dumb, not hateful.

Hang on lads:

Faataape is solid but his surname is a direct violation of too many vowels. Should have a double e at the end to balance the spelling.

There’s a footy player in both of these guys somewhere. Like everything it depends on terms.

Whether we have the right people for them is probably another matter.

Your spot on.
From what I've heard and seen, Craig Bellamy and the Storm system can suck blood out of a stone when it comes to getting the best out of their inductees. Same with Panthers.
Can Benji and the coaching staff do it with Faarartarpee, Skelton, Hunt and so on.
Theres's no excuse for dismal performance for Benji. He's got a terrific spine. One could say are up there with the best teams. Luai will raise the bar at training and during the games but our forwards are still underdone.
Whilst I've been banging on since the start of the year that we should target Hunt....he is only an impact player.
We need an 80min Yeo, Angus Chrichton or similar.

I don't see any excuses other than it's a tough competition. The coach has to get our forwards playing good enough footy in offense and defense to win games.

I don't see how a forward pack of Klemmer, Pole, Samuela and Sione Fainu, Jack Bird, Seyfarth, Twal and Hunt can't get the job done. Klemmer, Twal and Seyfarth can all play big minutes. The backrowers don't get much of a rest. Pole and Hunt should each give us at least 40 minutes a game.

Plus we'll have Skelton, Turuva, Olam bringing the ball back.

Mmmmm, I still have doubts. None of those fwds you mentioned dominate the middle.
Seyfarth and Fianu are energy players and could have more of an impact next year. A big off season might see to that.

I think they do enough to have roles across the season. I don't think the pack is that bad or the depth is that bad but we have a lot of junior forwards in our top 30.

In stating that we have Johannssen and Porter outside our top 30. I think they can both play a role in first grade.

Put it this way our backline and our spine especially Api and Luai should be able to have us threatening to make the 8. If anything else happens I reckon it'd be another disappointing season.
Angus stitched the roosters up. As soon as he resigned he went back to garbage

Alex showed a bit last year.

I’d like to know what Benji and Co are going to do to improve our ugly lots discipline over the off season?

Can you train for that?

Speaking of....I couldn't help but laugh when i read this totally innocent snippet....this is how it works folks...no rules about how much a player pays for property but my guess will remain that the young man will be genuinely flabbergasted at his luck during this time of booming property prices :)

"Angus Crichton has dropped a massive hint about Sam Walker’s future at the Roosters, with the representative edge forward revealing the young halfback has been looking at properties in Sydney in a sign he’ll likely sign a new deal with the club."

If only we had a supporter or something who could help out with cheap properties

Just to be clear racism sucks and I bet what he went through sucked as well. I also think basically everyone takes drugs. Some people smoke ciggies, some drink alcohol and some take benzo's.

The point is getting out of control is bad for society and that is what he sounds like he has done.
No hang the f**k on!!
Everybody doesnt take ILLEGAL drugs , Everybody doesn't illegally drive with illegal drugs in their system, everybody doesnt drive illegally without a licence, and everybody doesnt earn a shitload of cash and get gifted a free car .
STOP with the excuses for these types of merkins , because that is the very reason they act like they do while the majority of society doesnt .

@Jubilee was raising similar concerns about his fitness and proprietary to continue to play and after some quiet reflection, his argument persuaded me that my original line was too permissive.

I’m big on second chances, I swear on them, I’m not perfect or whatever, but yep, he’s crossed the line.

I tried to find some love in there, but if guilty, he’s a very bad person.

At any rate, if there’s any justice, the only part of the car he will need for the next few years is any excess lube.

In the court as a judge, I’d slam him and tell his bleeding heart lawyers, shrinks other referees to take their perverted self serving circus to the Appeal Courts.

I can just see his referees now: Tyrone May, Junior Amone and all the other NRL gangstas.

They’d be happier in the AFL where the hitmen sing the team song!

I dont understand what you mean by this simmo. How did he stitch them up and he was one of the best fwds this year. What have I missed?

He was until they resigned him. He had his mental health sabbatical, then when it was contract time he turned into a try scoring machine and killed it. Not so much after pen was put to paper

Everybody doesnt take ILLEGAL drugs

It makes no difference to me. Homosexuality was illegal at one point. Women couldn't vote. Apartheid was legal.

Alcohol is a pretty low bar to set for the standard of legality.

I completely agree about getting out of control though and the rest of us being the one to suffer because of what stupid merkins do is a fair point.

I also said that in my post:- "The point is getting out of control is bad for society and that is what he sounds like he has done."

And its right now that a lot of adults in society are letting our kids think its not a big deal to take drugs, drive under the influence etc because the NRL slaps them on the wrist then allows another club to pick them up.
The last serious penalty that i can think of is when the cronulla centre got done for performance enhancing drugs and now plays for the dogs. That was affecting his body and not endangering others but it was cheating.
That was a big statement by the NRL but lately these so called recreational drugs keep happening.
A huge percentage of society would have experimented with pot or similar as a teen like me, but thank god there are some good role models out there that say this is dumb, especially when in control of machinery that can kill.
Show some gonads NRL.
