It’s still all based on an allegations and that’s why I don’t like stand down.

Its instant punishment without a fair hearing without the checks and balances under law.

He may have a valid defence?

8% of all defendants win their cases.

The game should let the legal experts deal with it.

They’ve got too many of these things wrong and innocent players have been unnecessarily punished in the name of nrl spin doctoring.
Call me bad, but unless he’s one of us, I couldn’t give a f**k.

No one enjoyed the cows not being able to stump up his cash more than I did.

Pascoes big “f-you” to Lucy and the cows, you buy a player with a credit card, you have to pay, but it doesn’t make this stand down right.

i recall him wanting to go to the United Nations over the pulling of his hair. Now he stands accused.

Rest assured I believe Stryker puss’s contempt for my existence remains entirely intact.

The current “meeting of minds” is one concerned with a mutual dislike and utter indescribable disgust at the manner in which the club is being managed.

As soon as that war is won, if we make it through, I predict we will once again step out into the sunlight and turn our keyboards on each other.

It will be a good day.

The spring crop mustn't have budded up yet . . . .
Which reminds me of another issue Stryker puss and I agree on -being a personal contempt for illicit mind numbing drugs.

I favour intensive rehabilitation to resolve the far gone, but he might prefer a bullet. I’m not sure.

Either way, it’s a shake of the head for the addicted, wandering through the streets, praising Ivan ( the rodent headed human colostomy) and his smug dealers.

To much rain and Fungus can play havoc on certain plants like tomatoes or those resembling them.
Perhaps the phantom needs to look into what works better in this climate .. fungi in the magic kind maybe ?
I remember the days when one would bow ones head at a mod.

You've gone rogue like @soc123_au.

The rules of the forum obviously don’t apply to you lot and your kind!

I think Klem will be a good one, as long he doesn’t want his BBF “Woods” to join him😉

IMO, another FG S/R/ FR and a centre would make us interesting.
I’m only interested in the strike forwards at the moment because i think the backs can sort themselves out. But it simply can’t work the other way around.

In the broadTim has to find a way to motivate the players and they all need to be a lot fitter, more ambitious and resilient. If there’s no change by round 9, show him the door.

I’ve been belting on about proper sports psychologists and people good at motivation for a long time now. Screaming obscenities is good theatre, but the players tune out. Noddys yawning was about the truth of it.

That’s why we have the white elephant for the next coach to swear in and hopefully it echoes. That will be Benji. Standing in front of a mirror admiring his issue of his expletives. The coolest way to say “ f**k”

The board resigning en masse would assist to.

Replace them with a vending machine.

Forwards my good man, the roll on, second phase and quick play the ball.

not too upset about this. Could see him being a disaster in Sydney. In Melbourne he’s off the radar. Here whenever he goes for a night out he’s gonna have dipshits baiting him into a scuffle all night. He’s stupid enough to take the bait. Either needs to be off the radar at the Storm, or have a Teflon master like Bennett keeping him covered

How did AD get on the outer so much?
The vast majority were sucking his cock this time last year.

He’s a frustrating one for me. Give him a couple of yards of pace and he’s a world class fullback, instead he’s a good 6. Ideally he would have Daino’s pace and would play 1 with Laurie at 6. Instead we have 2 options at the back, one who is too small and one who is too slow. I guess wth Munster staying put they may warm to keeping him

TIGERS

Biggest issue
: Their halves combination.

Analysis: The Wests Tigers have solved one major problem from the 2022 campaign and will welcome Panthers hooker Apisai Koroisau with open arms next season. However, Tim Sheens has a huge decision to make surrounding his halves pairing. The Tigers finished the season with Adam Doueihi and Jock Madden in the halves with both Luke Brooks and Jackson Hastings injured. Madden has signed with the Broncos for next year and Brett Kimmorley experimented with Hastings at lock in various games. The biggest headache the merger club face is Luke Brooks contract situation. The 27-year-old is reportedly set to earn $1.1 million in 2023 and the club have kicked off extension talks due to his willingness to stay and work with Sheens alongside assistants Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah. Doueihi has made no secret of his desire to play in the halves, while Hastings played his best football in 2022 at halfback. One of those three players will need to make way if they all remain at Leichhardt Oval. Joe Ofahengaue was one of the Tigers’ best in 2022 which makes it difficult to switch Hastings to lock permanently. Tigers powerbrokers face a true headache came Round 1 next season — and their decision could see one of the trio depart the club.

pick up $750k of his contract and send him elsewhere. He can stay here and play 24 games and win us 3 of them, or we can pay him to play for someone else, he can play 2 games against us and win both of them for us.

Offa at lock and Hastings in the 7 are obvious choices for all but the powers that be. I’d pick Adam before Brooks at 5/8 but that seemed like the last thing management would allow to happen last year. So they’ll probably end up losing the best on of the lot…Hastings.

I like your thinking…only those two games against us will probably be his career best.

As for the recent Api comments about the Tigers, I can put that down to the extreme emotions of winning a premiership tied in with having next to no sleep for the bloke. In saying that, once again it is not a good look.
It is not the first time a former or current player has had a shit on this club.
But, it probably is a first that both two very high-profile recruits who have not started pre-season training with us have cast some shade of shit on their future employer. I have not seen Mahoney or Kikau behave like this towards the Dogs. For a club that REALLY needs to have a smooth and positive off-season, I really wish these two blokes chose their actions a little better and were more professional. But, various guys that are already AT the club have also showed various degrees of disrespect towards the club. This is something that needs to change and change now. Very disrespectful to a fanbase that contributes towards their wages and is absolutely craving for some sort of improvement.
Well articulated Wizardman. Some players need to be reminded they are very highly paid employees by the business (footy clubs) and are REQUIRED to conduct themselves professionally both on and off the field .
