Luke Lewis isn't coming to us. It's apparently only between the Tigers and Sharks now.
Luke Lewis was NEVER coming to us. I think it was just wishful thinking by all of us on here.

Dousty still isnt aware that Lewis is leaving the panthers..Well it would have been hard, what with us not even contacting his manager.
I'd want Doust to do a study tour on how to manage the salary cap with Stephen Humphreys if the Tigers get Lewis. They can draw him some big/simple diagrams, x to the y type stuff.
Personally just hoping Lewis does not land with the Sharks. The thought of that mob building some kind of competitive dynasty makes my stomach churn.
Circumstances are very different now. Some high paid players have moved on or about to move on. Plus the salary cap has since been increased to $4.4 million.I like Smith and admire what he did for us back in 2010.
He left here due to salary cap pressure orignally though didnt he? Those pressures may still exist and he would not come cheaply.
What if him going to the Sharks meant we got Smith?
Oh for that developement proposal to fall down and the scum can then f#*k off.I'd rather us without Smith than the Scum without Lewis. Great bit of recruitment by Balmain though if they get him. Fits right in the gap left by Ellis. Just makes me more disillusioned by our Keystone approach to maintaining a competitive team.

When is the decision? Sometime this month?
Doust probably thinks it's Wally Lewis leaving the Panthers.

I see this happening...
Doust trumpets to the world..."We got the Morris brothers back together in what can only be described a coup that seemed un-imaginable. In what has been one of my toughest negotiations ever, ladies and gentlemen, I give you JOHN MORRIS !"
The planning department gave it the green light this month. It still needs final approval from the Independent Planning Assessment CommissionThis ^^^^
