At the end of the day the owner chairman whatever f**k he is, shouldnt be on the piss with the players and should keep his opinions to himself.

Real good for the club and morale of the team going in to 2016 when you got this merkin thinking he owns everyone.

There is even souffs fans praising this merkin lol good luck attracting top players to the club with this goose running the show.

I don't think it's nessiceraly a bad thing having a bond with the team but there has to be some kind of limit for sure. As for attracting players unless Crowe has giving Keary a pay cut I don't think it will have to much of an impact. They're all about the $$$$

There's always been issues with him playing favourites. I remember a few years back when souths had some injuries. We only invited Burgess and Taylor to his box to watch the game while Luke Stuart and a few other guys watched from the sidelines. Can't be great for team moral to have shit like that going on.

So were the penalty machine Burgess twins and yet they got praised. As if singling a player(young guy no less) out and berating him in front of everyone on a bonding trip is good for anyone. Especially when it is coming from a Hollywood actor who can probably offer sfa in terms of actual knowledge to an NRL player.
