I love the league.... a four page article on the Storm and their grappling style and then they charge Ryles?

F*ck the NRL, bunch of cheating merkins.

Call me a cynic but I just knew some place inside myself that we'd be the first to get busted for it .

trolling here but i think it's absolutely bullsh*t ryles is charged for this when a week ago you had inglis with his right hand on top of a players head and his left on the chin. absolutely disgraceful inglis didn't get cited and ryles did. ryles won't get off because of his reputation.

I am personally flabbergasted with the nrl and especially the likes of Greg McCallum and Robert Finch who have personally presided over several seasons of rule changes mid season. Why can't these dopes (I was tempted to use idiots but that would be too severe) get it right before the season kicks off.

Now officially gone for two weeks. The Dragons, yet again, are trend setters! The NRL begins a campaign and the Dragons get pinged first!!

Knock me over with a feather. Widders cleared, Ryles aint. Didn't see that comin.

Three players charged, two from clubs in finals contention.

One player gets suspended.

I didn't see that coming...

It certainly takes the cake. The club most under the microscope for the grapple gets off scot-free.

Will a Storm player get suspended for the rest of the year?

Ryles should take a rest and just leave it. As much as I'd love to see him run out, let him have an early shower and rest up for 2008.

TBH it doesn't matter now and although it's a matter of principal, it's not one I really care about.

if the inglis incident wasn't unneccesary contact with the head then just what is? how is it liam fulton got off and ryles didn't? ryles got suspended because he is jason ryles plain and simple. who else would you make an example of? andrew ryan? if ryles had of hit ryan the same way ryan hit him ryles would of missed the rest of the year weeks ago. the judiciary is a basket case disgrace

I gotta say as a South Sydney fan I was just as disappointed in Ryles being charged, head shaking stuff as usual from the NRL. I wish our mob chased him I rate Ryles highly. You can't ask for more from a frontrower. Takes hitups, attracts 3 defenders, offloads, aggressive and a good hitter in defence.

What a load of sh!t. That wouldn't have knocked this skin of a rice pudding.
How was that a two week suspension, yet the head contact from Petro last weekend was let go with a penalty kick. I'm sure they watch different games to the one's I see.

There's no drama with us wearing dresses next season. Doust is trying his best to f**k the club anyway, so the players may as well dress as f**kees.

"The situation with Jason is, if he hadn't had 93 carry-over points he could have possibly taken the early plea and played [this weekend]," he said. (MCallum)

Is that correct? I recall that Ryles was going to be suspended either way.
