Gus, keep your flag bearers in check. Could poke someone's eye out.
Must of been part of the rent-a-crowd.

On the contrary, this is not typical of our fans and I offer my sincere apology on behalf of the offender. This type of behavior perpetuates the stereotype of the bogan westie which the people of Penrith have long since shed.

When did that happen?

Nobody is after your sympathy or a character reference you f**king bogan.

Just don't go wishing serious injuries on guys because you're bitter about your team being shit.

How the f**k does this have anything to do with my team? I absolutely can't stand the merkin and I like hearing this news but no, this is all about my team's slow start to the season even though South Sydney have been far from impressive. Yeah. That's it.

f**king knob.

And I'm sure there wasn't much in it, more than anything an honest mistake with mummy Burgess being too quick to make a judgement with the media even quicker to defend one of their darlings.

We can see where old Sammy boy gets his third man in tactics when dear mumsy has come charging in fighting his battles for him.

Incidently, when are we going to see pictures of this inanimate rod?

Thought Panthers fans would've been hitting Soward or one of their other no hopers.

I hope we can expect more of this.

A good tar and feathering of the opposition team when they win or a burning of the team's effigy.

Actually found a video of Panthers fans after last night's game burning Sam Burgess.

You don't have to like Sam but to be happy at the possibility of him being assaulted is ridiculous. I'm hardly his biggest fan right now and I hate that he's walking out on us but striking him with a weapon is extremely unacceptable.

This is Australia ffs, we should be above hitting sports players. It's the NRL, not some south american soccer league.

It doesn't take much to do serious damage to an eye. That could easily have happened here.

The League could enlist the services of a well known Souths LU member to investigate this incident.

Said member has lots of experience with poles in and around his face.

If I was brought in I'd get to the bottom of this within a week. Somebody should be charged for this or the Panthers should be fined.
