Storm 6thHypothetical for you- AOB goes to Melbourne and Bellamy comes here. Squads stay the same. This time next year, how are both teams traveling?
if AOB isn't to blame than who is? Brown left a half decent squad to build off, AOB has failed miserably to strengthen the squadIt is hard to lay blame directly at AOB’s feet on his own, but the bottom line is it has not worked and probably cost him a career. It sucks he has learnt the hard way. Don’t take the Knights on as a rookie. Those days are gone.
Bellamy wouldn't sit still and go into a season with a squad which clearly isn't good enough, he'd build a much stronger squad by picking the eyes out of qld cup talent and undervalued pieces from other clubs. AOB would probably let Munster walk and replace him with Crossland as if that were a like for like replacementStorm 6th
Knights 8th.
Be hard to f**k them up too soon when they have such familiarity. Bellamy has his work cutout for him but should be good enough to get us those few extra wins to get us around the top 8.
yep, AOB has done such a terrible job squad wise its too big an ask for an unproven coachFlanagan?
Players still have to take some flack.if AOB isn't to blame than who is? Brown left a half decent squad to build off, AOB has failed miserably to strengthen the squad
who is coaching those players? Who signed/re-signed those players? I mean if i were a business owner and chose the most incompetent people to work for me and didn't train up and manage those people adequately and as a result the business failed who's fault is it really?Players still have to take some flack.
Gardner has been here for Brown and AOB, is that right? Very hard then as there was always a succession plan if Brown couldn't get the most out of his re-built squad, which he wasn't.This is a systemic culture thing.
We’ve thrown coaches and players at the club and it hasn’t worked.
It needs to be dealt with from the top down starting with Gardner.
Gardner isn’t a protected species.
Results show we need to totally rethink the approach and question the system in place. He has had his chance.
Yeah because that’s something that people do.I’ve switched my opinion on this.
O’Brien shouldn’t be sacked.
If he had any humility, he should offer his resignation. Now.
Gardner is as safe as can be. Gardner is CEO of wests and has been for 25 years, only way he isn't ceo is if he decides to relinquish the job and focus on his commitments with wests. This is a systemic culture thing.
