Sack Adam O'Brien

Gardner is as safe as can be. Gardner is CEO of wests and has been for 25 years, only way he isn't ceo is if he decides to relinquish the job and focus on his commitments with wests.
What i do trust with Gardner is that he's a businessman first and foremost and will approach it from that standpoint. Culture is definitely an issue was made worse by AOB handing out top 30 deals to a bunch of locals literally no on else wanted.
To be fair, is it's AOBs call to do that? Isn't the head of football and the recruitment manager responsible for that?

That's part of the problem.

The it's up to Gardner to sack O'Brien. If he is businessman first and foremost then he should be able to see the weakest link affects the bottom line.

recruitment managers don't sign players without the coaches approval, in the case of Zammitt his role isn't even a retention role, they brought him in specifically to recruit kids from outside Newcastle.

Hypothetical for you- AOB goes to Melbourne and Bellamy comes here. Squads stay the same. This time next year, how are both teams traveling?
I remember a game between the Eels (coached by Hagan) and the Knights (coached by Brian Smith) in 2008 and Newcastle were giving Parra a towelling. Gus made the comment that watching this game was proof that it takes 18 months to build a club- and 18 months to destroy a club.

What's Danny Buderus' role? Is he the guy who hands out the contracts? If so then he needs to be looked at too, because we've had too many contracts in player's favour which affects our future decisions way too much.

You always defend him while claiming AOB is responsible for the squad when he clearly isn't.
Gardner needs to accept accountability and step down.
It clearly isn't working with him as CEO.

That's supposed to be his job, but hiring a GM of Football with actual experience or expertise in building a football club would be too logical for the Knights. Buderus is there to smile for the cameras and repeat what he's told to by Gardner, who is even less qualified for the role.

Get rid of him sure. Don’t want Flanagan though and not just because a terrible person.
The game has past him by judging by his meandering ‘expert analysis’
Who else is available?
