I’m not even defending him - I’m realistic in what the club will do.
However if you replace shit with the same shit, what does getting rid of AOB even achieve?
It feels like you're defending him without having the guts to actually defend him. By arguing the point of "it won't happen", which is unfalsifiable by anyone on here until it happens - a pointless discussion and distraction from the actual issue at hand (whether he SHOULD be sacked), you're sidestepping what you actually want to say because that's so easily refuted.
Basically, he's totally indefensible, and you're taking the only pro-AOB argument that's left to occupy without looking daft.
The simple question you should answer (because it's what people are actually discussing) - but you haven't yet - is whether you think he
should be sacked or not. Whether he will be or not is just not relevant to what anyone is saying.
Like, answering your questions seems so silly? What does sacking a leader that has been in place for 4 years now and only lead us in a downward trajectory do? The answer is so obvious - you roll the dice again to see if you can get a leader who can fix the trajectory. Maybe it works out, maybe it doesn't - but sticking with the same and expecting different results - well there's an old saying about that.
