2 first grade appearances so far this year and Latimore is going okay. Playing better than Sims. Why would you sack him?
I thought Simms redeemed himself in the 2nd half with some great hard runs. But he should have been hooked & sat in the corner for 10 mins after he let the 1st try in.2 first grade appearances so far this year and Latimore is going okay. Playing better than Sims. Why would you sack him?

Sometimes you just need to give a champion player like him a chance to redeem himself. It wasn't good but he doesn't often make those mistakes. I am glad he had a strong rest of the match without setting the world on fire.I thought Simms redeemed himself in the 2nd half with some great hard runs. Latimore is slowly proving to be what “Matt Prior” was to the Sharks in 2015 - a consistent no frills, no mistake footballer!2 first grade appearances so far this year and Latimore is going okay. Playing better than Sims. Why would you sack him?
Yes, I have had to eat humble pie as I was against his signing - wanted a higher grade prop. But he is doing the job we need done. Now the fourth prop position is his to lose. Clearly our young props still need to lift their form to take that fourth prop spot.No arguments about Latimore. Did his job.

I thought AhMau stood out tonight. Every touch had anticipation, hit and drive, throw a shark, off load....Players like him
Never set the world on fire they are just hard and tough. He made 1 mistake, it happens occasionally when you constantly put your body on the line, just ask Tyson he coughed one stupid penalty when he didn’t have to. Playing in those positions in a forwards battle game like tonight something has to give. No forward stood out tonight they just belted each other
I think Graham was inspirational too.I LOVED seeing Lam throw Gallen out the way with one of his runs. The Beast is an inspiration to the other forwards.
Latimore comes across as a bit of a gentle giant but last night he looked pumped and really stuck it to the Cronulla forwards.Latimore, whether you agree with his signing or not, has certainly delivered, especially against the Sharks. You cannot ask much more from a player than to play beyond their ability. He did that tonight. Some good runs and a couple of great offloads. Well done.
