There's been 2 interviews (1 presser from Warriors game and today's coaches preview rd5) where he states that he is the coach for 2017, but nothing further than that, he even smirks when the topic is bought up. Take that both ways that he knows he's already gone at the end of the season ie: no renewal, or he already has been extended and keeping it under wraps.
His actions point to me that the former is more in play than the latter.

Geez...how many more chances shall we give to McGregor...if its a lack of halfback this year..then will it be a lack of a rep fullback next year?
Regardless of where we sit now...blokes had too long in the top job. It shouldn't be a 4-5 year apprenticeship FFS.

I see your point but my point is that its not all the coaches fault all the time.
If this dragons team can get into the finals without a halfback(mccrone) its a pretty good effort.
If the coach has them up and winning games with this team I would suggest the same coach with the same team plus a quality halfback may have a chance of winning a premiership.

Dragons are the Leicester of the NRL.. The longer we keep winning the longer we will keep asking ourselves "surely there's a form slump coming"" just enjoy the ride boys - media are saying we have the form pack, best attack , and only team in the NRL playing. A power game..

We are playing to our strengths like any good team does - Field and Leilua wil get their chances - I'm hoping for their sake theyRe ready when the chance arrives because right now the current 17 deserve their positions ..

True it is only March but you must be spewing OV. Before the season started you would have been rubbing your hands together thinking we would be 0/4 by now and everything would be doom and gloom, just the way you like it.
Guess what, everyone seems pretty happy for now, players are putting in and winning games.
I hope they keep winning.

No chance of a new coach coming in at this stage and if there is mark my words it will be either Walters or DAley because they are working under the same structure being offered by the Dragons mgt ie: coach the squad we give you don't worry about running the football dept.. Just coach the team

There's a big difference beteeen winning in March and winning in September (the true form guide). And we won't be winning in September unless and until the intellectual dwarf masquerading as a head coach is removed. But don't let that spoil yours and mickeymouse's March celebrations.
