One thing you’ve conveniently overlooked, Mary sets the standards. End thread.

Yep and the players aren't playing up to those standards. They were at the start of the year, now they are making SCHOOLBOY ERRORS. Dumb penalties, poor ball handling, and soft defensive errors. They weren't doing that at the start of the season. Now they are.

If you think Mary has reduced his standards over the course of the year than you may wanna think again.

Players arent emotionasll in it. They've read too many papers. Believed the naysayers. One little crack and they saw a giant hole. Players making school boy mistakes falls on players shoulders..

They should hang their heads in shame and apologize to the supporters.

The man should do the right thing and admit he doesn't know how ro not only coach but also he has no understanding of psychology! I saw a very deflated team tonight no confidence maybe a bit hung over from their drink at Terrigal! I will not be renewing my membership next year if McGregor is coach such a shame if that is the case. D4L

Hanging out for the press conference this time. Nowhere to hide for McGregor. In fairness to the fans the Widdop excuse should not even be uttered once.

in all honesty Widdop has been a passenger for 4 weeks...wont be missed - Field shoud b picked for no other reason that he ads a much needed X Factor and can kick goals...f**k Mann...

7 stupids penalties = Mary's fault
Another sinbinning = Mary's fault
Basic defensive errors = Mary's fault
Wingers not attempting to catch bombs = Mary's fault
1 play the ball in eels 20m in 34mins = Mary's fault
Basic dropped balls = Mary's fault
Widdop injury = Mary's fault too I guess

Players a held to 0 accountability. Obviously all of these these things above were the gameplay the players were given right?

Be angry. But no coach, not even Bellamy could take the blame of some of the crap dished up by the players tonight. The penalties and the sinbinning have given us no chance..
I'm glad that someone was counting it up. The refereeing was terrible, the sin binning of McInnes was absurd. Plus the players were just lacking any spirit, not interested in backing up and playing for each other.

But the potential wooden spooners just put 40 points on us. Not many places to hide after that.

The buck stops somewhere ozbuck. The coach takes the credit when things are going well... so it stands to reason that he must take some responsibility for the bad times as well. Tonight was shithouse.

Just like an organization a business a country if you don't have a competent individual in charge it'll go to the bottom of the harbour just like the nugan hand bank

I think the biggest joke of the night including that 'effort' to let Moses dance straight through, was the fact that I, among McGregor's greatest critics, actually gave us a chance tonight against the bottom team, and I was actually looking forward to the game and a win tonight to maybe gain back some momentum.

It is torture when you go against your better judgement and end up getting hurt, time after time. How many fans has McGregor indirectly sent to the nut house?

The club needs to think very carefully. McGregor has survived some moments but if they don't act (a la Gould) they may be sentencing themselves to something unprecedented i.e. decades of failure and financial ruin.

Agreed on this point and, actually, I think that was the first time I could say that about the 2018 Dragons. I have been generally satisfied with effort.

I think, at the end of the day, our best won't be good enough. We don't have the backs and it is now safe to say the halves have failed (again). And when you get lack of talent + lack of trying you will get many more 40 point losses. In fact, I think we'd be the worst team in the comp.

Lafai - hopeless
Aitken - it's official, hopeless
MacDonald - making up numbers
Dufty - greater liability than asset
Pereira - we will all have forgotten him in a few year's time (a la Shane Laloata)

Hunt and Widdop with their salaries need to be held most accountable.

All our outside backs aren't as good as Mann and that after McGregor has done his head in playing him as a back up forward.sack McGregor

Get this inept skidmark out of our club.

To lose this badly to the team placed last is absolutely diabolical.

We’ve now had 2 and a half months of mediocrity that has now degenerated into a complete quagmire of sewerage.

If the club cannot see how disgracefully inadequate this situation is, how can they call themselves administrators. Our brand has been plunging lower for the last 7 years. Only a completely out of touch f**ktard would accept this. This gomer has had ample opportunity to prove himself.

He has failed.
f**k him off.

You do realize it was only 10 -0 or 16 - 0 when Widdop went off...
I think the buck stops with the coach.....

I work for a major corporation in Miami which had to cut staff on Friday.

An Admin Assistant accompanied by a Brevard County Sheriff walked around the office and placed a pink slip with a payout check on the desks of those employees let go - the pink slip read - your serices are no longer required- you have thirty minutes to clear your desk and leave the premises.

There were tears and arguments but we all realise that when on contract you are just a number that has to perform each day.

Sorry Mary it is time that Dousty issued you with a pink slip.

40-4 against Parramatta???

If we lose our last three and Balmain win their last 4 $#@!
