I've been following the Dragon's since my brother took me to the 1975 GF, I remember being so sick from the dodgy Hotdog I chewed into outside the gates. It's taken 44yrs for me to feel as sick as that day by this coach's team & bench/use selection, lack of variety, lack of defence structure, lack of being able to get the best out of his players, lack of rewarding lower grade players for under performing 1st grade players, lack of having the guts to drop players to find some form in the Reggies, lack of realising he is out of his depth & the weakest arse board in history of any club.

Truly the lowest pride I have ever felt in saying "I'm a Dragons supporter"
While this clown is our coach I'm barracking for the opposition. Sacrilegious maybe, but short of me starting to watch AFL It's the only hope I have of waving this guy goodbye..........

But we don't have JDB! That explains our position on the ladder. It doesn't matter that we have 5 origin reps (irrespective of other suspensions and injuries) but only have 2 more wins than a no name Titans team, who have rightly sacked their coach. Despite on balance performing worse than the Titans, our board gives Mary a pass mark because it's been a tough year without JDB.

This is an interesting fortnight coming up which will give us a bloody good indication if anything at all will happen.

We are now at full strength. Yes DeBelin out but this team is as good as it now gets so zero excuses.

If we then loose to the last placed basket case team called the Titans then surely, surely even those who are still supporting the Coach and the Parts of the Media with there head up there backsides will have to be doubtful and question strongly his credentials.
That would make us two from 15 with a full strength team and the squad that he wanted and got for the past two years.

I tend to agree with your post but like I said in my last post, if Qapm can see the problem then those in management, coaching staff, media, etc, have to know it (and a lot earlier) but they cannot or will not address the issues. That's why I think it is like a bust out, someone burning down a building for insurance money or just squeezing every last cent they can from a once highly respected organization. With people like that there is no hope they will see reason as they are acting rationally according to their skewered world view.

None of the players could bring themselves to run a few metres to catch the kick off or make just one game winning last tackle last week.

Can’t see the players of old giving up like that.

No one had any busted arms, entrails gushing out onto the paddock, probably a few players needed a rest and counselling though.

The excuse writers are demanding a pay increase.

Perhaps one of those feral pig green left feminazis could lecture the boys on tackling with sensitivity and respect for the feelings and opinions of the attacking opponent, especially on a kick ...or a few metres from the white line.

This is probably what Hunt went through on his week off.

My point is that Mary isn’t coaching very well so anything else is worth a try.

Any dignity at all would be worth it.

This is what they did against the broncos in the semi last year and look what happened. And how funny was it watching McWreckor in the coaches box with a dumbfounded look on his face, thinking - "where did this come from?" The imposter was exposed but I'm afraid that one game ensured he would get the two year extension. He went from 'Dead Man Walking' (after the dogs debacle at Kogarah) to super coach in the space of a few weeks...

Well I will tell you one thing and that is if the Joint Venture board does not do a complete about face with Mary’s contract and they themselves finally get their heads into the 21st century and begin thinking of success , our team logo will be the skeleton of a Dragon as that is about all that remains now - and the memories of past glories which count for nought in the real world .

The rush to appoint Mary last season without pressure from other clubs to sign him, demonstrated extraordinary incompetence and total lack of foresight and leadership from the board and ceo.

They won’t make his contract public as it will show up their executive shortcomings.

Even the illiterate and grand auto theft loving junior at my work would have waited to see how the season panned out before signing him. I mean this a kid more worried about Facebook than a career sometimes.

But he’d make a better decision than your lot with their years of experience in corporate governance.

It’s not rocket science and it is SIMPLE!

Marys continued tenure is a product of an incompetent, out of touch and uncaring board.

If McGregor trots out the same game plan we will get done like a dinner.
He has nothing at all to lose and we have shown that we can be dangerous when we play some ad lib footy.
Whether he has the balls to try something new, is another matter.
