Ryles wont be missing a week then, thought he was going to be though it is great he wont be. Looks like a good team, i just hope we will be able to field the same team consistently for the rest of the season

Can't wait to see The Germ fire up against his old club...

I also expect the Winger With The Lamp to continue the good form he's shown since coming in to Firsts.

Just hope The Germ doesn't overdo it with niggle or tackles because he's up against the Raiders.

As for Nightingale:-

Run Florence Run !!!

With Brett Morris in PL there will be some selection headaches in the next few weeks. I have been very impressed with Nightingale and if he keeps up his form it maybe Josh who makes way for Brett once he gets his form back.

IMO Naquaima's injury has saved him the idignity of playing the majority of the season in PL.

Good points Borat.

I'm thinking one of two backlines will be used:

1. Hornby
2. Nightingale
3. Stanley
4. Cooper
5. Morris
6. Young
7. Head

OR

1. Morris
2. Morris
3. Cooper
4. Stanley
5. Nightingale
6. Hornby
7. Head

I don't want to move Hornby around again, but I get the feeling Brown will eventually do so.

I think the opposite. Brown will leave Hornby at fullback at all costs. Young will stay 5/8th until Gaz comes back.

Big game IMO. If we win we will definitely move up 2 places in the ladder (unless if Titans/Rabbits were to have a draw), & we could move up 2 more places to 9th depending on the results of the Warriors/Knights & Bulldogs/Cowboys games.

One of the Morris' or Stanley will be shunted to PL as a result.

I think either situation could occur, but the scenario of Young at 5/8 makes a lot of sense.

Why would Brown f*ck things up and put Gaz in 5/8 when he comes back.

If we are in a position to make the finals at that stage of the year - surely it will be beacuse Head and Young have clicked as a halves combo.

Gaz is a centre by nature - throw him back into what he is most familiar with i reckon

gaz has to go back to the centres, unless we get more injuries, head and young are starting to work well, i would also like to see young on the last tackle take the pressure off head and put some chip kicks through,he is not a bad kicker we need some variety.

I definitely think Nightingale has deserved to stay in the FG team wihtout having Morris coming straight back in, will be interesting to see how it plays out once Brett is fully fit

Chase and Florence have been really good and have been strong.

Chase I think should be able to hold his position but I think Florence will have to make way for Slippery when he's fully fit again. But Chase will also go once Gaz comes back because hopefully Brown doesnt f*ck up again and put him in 5/8 unless we need him there. But to be honest I think come round 20 Coops will be injured and that will keep Chase in the team. At the moment I like our backs.

1.Hornby
2.Florence
3.Chase
4.Coops
5.J Slipperry
6.Young
7.Head

But when Gaz is back i hope it looks something like this:

1.Hornby
2.J Slippery
3.Gaz
4.Coops
5.B Slippery
6.Young
7.Head

but I wouldnt mind Florence in there.

As for Keith in the side, um.....................

Personally I reckon we would have been better chucking someone else in there.

Frank Samia has been on fire in Premier League and would like to see him get a run at some stage this year. He's a try scoring machine. Scored 3 against Tigers in PL 2 weeks ago and picked up a couple against the Knights!

We'll see how we go!

As for now

Thats the backline I like, just need the forwards to keep us on something like an even keel and we'll see results.

There was no doubt that the better side won but IMO the Raiders scored 18 points from forward passes and a player held back.

Fugging abysmal display by the officials.

So it was much closer than the score revealed.

Bad luck lads.

Injuries and attrition, will any of the first grade side be playing in 6 weeks time?

And will Browny be there?

Perhaps you'll just have to hedge your bets even further.
