I disagree slightly
Throw in Vaughan he's the reason hikus eye shut up shop lol and bullied the panthers
McDonald was dangerous early
Debellin has been great
Thompson hat trick
McInnes was serviceable at hooker an automtic upgrade
And we saw a red hot junior get some game time early in the season
i saw a lot a positives

I think he meant that there were only positives and no negatives in this performance.

Is JDB another Gordon Tallis or what? His running today ....in the words of Rabbits Warren "somebody stop him or he'll run out of the stadium!"
A real solid performance from the whole team today. Thoroughly out muscled, out performed and out enthused Penrith.

NRL website -> Team stats -> sort by points scored

If you don't have a sense of optimism right now, ya ain't a real fan.

I'm happy as f**k, but at the same time, I'm scratching my head? How can a team be so clueless in attack for going on 5 years and put on performance like that against one of the title favourites?

Duges and Widdop were outstanding, McInnes, Nene and Vaughan, wow, great debuts. And the whole forward pack was awesome.

And dare I say it, good tactics going through the middle where we clearly had the advantage. And finally, we had a decent performance from our halves to take advantage.

Well done boys and well done Mary.

Tough Marker...Scores 22 points..what else do you want. That was towards the end of the game...probably due to fatigue.

Lol, yes I suppose I am. His goal kicking was excellent and he did some good things in the game. All in all he had a good game. Don't get me wrong. I just think he still had 2 or 3 really poor plays.

I agree...but has been playing without confidence. Today was a glimpse of what he is capable of. Great Captains knock. Well done to the whole team.

How good was that.
Best game thomo had for us.
How good was the whole pack.
18 off loads in one match how great.
Must of the time great straight running.
Now we have to back it up again the Eels.
Come on everyone let pack out the gong.
If they keep playing like we have today. It will be great.

What a tremendous result for the teams 1st game of 2017 ! And what about that powerhouse display by the forward pack . Big , mobile and tough , bluudy tough .
Almost brought tears to my eyes , I don't mind telling you . Well done Dragons , continue to play like that and who knows ?

2 things that were great to see.

Widdop was much straighter, which made the world of difference. His touches to put Thommo through for all those tries, brlliant. It's what I've been waiting to see for 3 seasons.

And Duges was in and around the ball more than he's been previously. He was there every time someone poked through like all good fullbacks.

Great to see but we need to keep it up.
