I'm not sure how that journo at SMH would know who is being paid what and by whom.
I'd like to know how the hell Lee Mossop is still getting payed. The bastard came over for a 12 month holiday, says i want to go home, but i want you to pay me still and we say OK. Obviously there is more to it than that but all reports were he was homesick and wanted to go back to England. Surely we would not have to pay out a contract when the player instigated breaking it
I get your point, but is a 20s contract anywhere near as bad and NRL, perhaps its relative but could we also no be considering that Remis/Dogs and Parra have struck a deal which ends well for all? Does it always have to be one party getting the arse?
Eg Sandow/Gordon deal, seems if that happens, noone is really disadvantaged?

Haven't we covered where this rot started?
The names in bold came off the overhead projector? Save Loko. Stuart and Spags have that lot right?
Loko is the same issue with a bigger price, which is on BA, I presume to for the same purpose as the other nuffies but we freed up a 25 spot for Semi (my best guess). You could argue that Loko shouldnt have been on the cash that is reported which cannot be BA's fault.
Again Jake, can't see how you would say the previously lot are not at fault or more importantly, how you can say that the current mob and gone anywhere near as bad as the previous lot were / have turned out to be.
Or have I just bitten?
The problem were facing is that we decided to release players under contract and pay them whilst playing for other clubs. We either didn't do a good enough deal with the club taking the player off our hands or our management don't know how to add which is a little worrying.
Our current management chose to release Loko and co for whatever reasons and decided to still keep paying them whilst playing for another club. Nobody put a gun to their head and said you have to terminate these contracts. The current management had the option of keeping the players instead they decided to break contracts and it got very messy. And to what benefit? We got 500k fine, were still coming last and a possible 4 points penalty for next season. Just dumb!!
Yet they want to point fingers at other people other than themselves.
Good question, same could be said with Loko... This all happened last year did it not?
I thought we turfed Loko, so i'm not surprised we had to shell out coin in that one
A bit like the rapist being blamed for the birth of a child 9 months later Jake. It's cause and effect mate
Or is it the mothers fault for not terminating?

The scenario is no brighter for next year, with the Eels already projected to be over the increased $6.55 million top-tier cap, a position which left them unable to re-sign veteran centre Willie Tonga and with no option but to offload Loko, who has been injury ravaged and had off-field issues.
Loko, 21, was to receive a huge pay rise from $130,000 this season to $440,000 in 2015 under his Parramatta contract, and the Eels will continue to contribute a significant portion to his salary at the Bulldogs next year.
 3P/ParraMount apologist.Well the point is our current management also need to be held accountable with decisions made that affect our current and future cap...
For eg: Reimis Smith was signed to a 3 year deal and has been released to the dogs 6 months later... The current management also chose to release Jacob Loko which has affected this years cap...
Maybe we should focus on fixing the issue rather than finger pointing at people that were there before
If they weren't released we would have breached the cap by more, you clown! Given the mess that was inherited, those "choices" were the only sensible decisions that could be taken to turn this mess around. Our current management chose to release Loko and co for whatever reasons and decided to still keep paying them whilst playing for another club. :lol:All of the responsibility lays with the current board, stagger. Don't worry, none of your boyfriends are to blame at all.

Also, don't forget the NRL have apparently been involved in this situation since last season, often on a weekly basis, working with the club to remedy the 3P mess. That's why when we were issued with the fine and threat of points deduction (necessary as a deterrent to other clubs from following the 3P way), the NRL went on record saying that this wasn't cheating and they were happy with how current administration was tackling this issue.
But keep waving the 3P / ParraMount fan boy flag, and getting yourself hot under the collar about it all for nothing .
 Imagine is Haynes last name was Spaglono??? :shock:Bart, you are just looking more foolish all the time.
It can't be good for you holding this much resentment and anger in and needing to release it on a public forum.
I'm guessing there are some things you need to get off your chest.
I know a good therapist.
Suity
Who the f**k signed Loko to ever receive $440K in one year? Kid's got attitude problems, and couldn't even keep his body together to stay on the field for more than an average of 6 games a season.
Bloody amateurs.
