Before Loko got seriously injured he looked like a gun signing and a future star. Some people cope with a lot of spare time on their hands and successive injuries and some don't. Loko has turned out to be one of the later but no one was to know that at the time his contract was done. As for not being able to keep his body together for mare than 6 games a season, neither could the likes of SBW in his early years. Loko still has plenty of potential - he just needs to get his shit together.

Bongo knows that it was his mate Pete nolan who started this cap mess. Didn't have a calculator and always paid overs. He never knew how tough it was to recruit players in the competitive sydney market. That's why he offered more and more $ than what a player was worth. It s a completely different landscape when you are a recruiter in a "one team one town " environment.

 3P/ParraMount apologist.

What do you think has been happening for the past six months? The current mob are fixing the mess left by those who went before, to the NRL's current satisfaction.

you must of missed the bit about Reimis Smith....

And if the current mob are trying to fix the mess to the NRL's satisfaction, why do we still have a 4 point penalty hanging over our heads next year?... Particularly when the issue doesn't relate to 15 and 16?

I guess we have 4 point penalty hanging over our heads because the club as an entity is responsible for its past behaviour, and for the governance systems that allowed/encouraged that behaviour to occur in the form it did. They want us to show some evidence of addressing the broader reasons why we got into the mess we did.

Regardless of whether the NRL think the current lot, the previous lot, both, everyone etc are responsible, in the end whoever did what was acting for our club.

Agree we don't have the geographical advantage of Brisbane (or Auckland) for recruiting junior talent, but that's got nothing to do with our salary cap. Or at least, not the NRL cap.

Who the f**k is Remis Smith? Some 16 year old with attitude problems? Who cares about that in the bigger context we're talking about.

Gees you're dumb sometimes Stags - or blinded by your agenda?

The 4 point suspended penalty is obviously a deterrent to other clubs, so taht they don't try to follow "the 3P way". If the NRL weren't happy we would have been slapped with a fine straight away - like other clubs who have breached to this magnitude were.

But are we missing the over-hyped not in cahrge of anything boke much at all?

Our junior depth looks fine - as fine as it was before Nolan, and as fine as it has always been dating back to the 1970s.

If you think our junior depth was fine pre 2011 then you're a complete idiot with no idea....

Last night we had junior Paulo and Pauli Pauli who's contract were extended by Nolan

Daniel Alvaro signed by Nolan from the Broncs

Tepai Moeroa who was part of the wallabies academy and we sneaked under their noses to nab him courtesy of Nolan

Josh Aloia 18th man - stolen from the Warriors system a couple of years back

Semi Redrardra - scouted by Nolan in Fiji

Have a look at our junior and debutants in 2011 and tell me if we were better than??

You're really have no idea do you??

You really are a complete moron, maybe if you didn't have your head so far up your arse you can actually take the time and do some research...

Reimis Smith will cost us big time under the cap for 16 and 17... So 6 months after we palmed of 8 clubs to sign him than played him in the 20's whilst still eligible for SG Ball we decided to flick him to the Bulldogs and the reason given by the CEO as emjaycee as my witness, 'he just didn't aim up in the 20's' that's right a 17 year old didn't aim up in the 20's whilst playing on the wing... Lol

No he wont. You also heard the CEO say that next year was an option contract. I was standing there as well, and the comment was more about how he didn't fit into the system here.

I've since had chats with other people this and know what's gone down and how it will affect us...

Suffice to say it's not a pretty outcome..

Yep, the coaches see them train, see their attitude to everything and then see them on game day......sometimes they just know or feel something.

Was it some merkin who works for the club with a foot in one of the factions and still trying to destabilise the club because their boys didn't get in?

I know you are told things and you have contacts but it doesn't mean those contacts aren't dog merkins who can't just move on and accept the current employers are running the show and they should either move on from the club (and go f**k another club, like Melbourne or something) or f**king do their job and shut the f**k up!

The people I speak to aren't connected nor do they follow any faction, I can't make that any more clearer..
