Are you referring to former Sydney Roosters captain Sean Garlick?
Garlick left the club under circumstances that he hasn’t forgiven us for.

The term 'trial by media' refers to how the media pre-judge a players guilt without due process, it has absolutely nothing to do with the judicial system itself.
Look it up you lazy bastard. lolWhat is the definition? I know I could google but I suspect with a term like that there'd be multiple.
It clearly implies that the judiciary are influenced by the media. If they are that is a corrupt process.
Robinson new exactly wha5 he was saying

kangaroo court
noun
Definition of kangaroo court
1 : a mock court in which the principles of law and justice are disregarded or perverted
2 : a court characterized by irresponsible, unauthorized, or irregular status or procedures
Suspending players doesn't make money. It is just shifting money already in the game from a star. Making money for the game would require such innovative ideas as talking the game up and taking the focus away from trivial boring sagas like this one.Happy to just up the ante on the shit stuff.
Gouging 20 weeks or more as it's quite disgusting.
Tripping 1-2 weeks. Use your arms, morons.
Hair pulling 1 week. Yes, you miss the grand final if you are thick enough to do it. Us poor fans!
No f**king letters or show cause bullshit. Suspend suspend suspend or at least get the fines going and make some $$$.
I do not care if he had 86 priors, pulling hair is a penalty nothing more.
Does Sam get a week next time he is off side? Strips with two in the tackle?
f**king penalty sufficent.
NRL brings this shyte on itself, Maude Flanders runs the citing system.

People go to the game to watch Sam Burgess, Sam Burgess playing makes the game money.

Merriam-Webster have been in the business of publishing dictionaries for 150 years.
Fines don't make money either, again it is money already in the game going from Sam to the NRL. I am concerned that the NRL uses this method to try and save face regarding insufficiently providing money to grassroots.Yes I meant to say that fines = money. Obviously suspensions do not. The idea that all of it goes to grassroots is fantastic.
People do go to watch Sam Burgess. If he wants to pull someones hair he has to sit in the naughty chair I'm afraid.
How is that happening here?I believe that when decisions are made to penalise one person whilst another is not, it’s corrupt
No it doesn't.Well its obviously not that but it certainly looks like one to the players and fans.

No it doesn't.
It looks like a typical judicial process. You get to bring a lawyer and your own evidence. All judgements are made based on the evidence available, with an officially qualified Judge presiding.
It's official and completely fair.
You are entitled to be wrong.Thats all nice, until the verdict is given.
It looks idiotic and reactionary. It looks like they change the rules to suit guys like Slater so they don't miss the grand final.
Not going to agree with you, we best not waste each others time from here on.
How is that happening here?
You are entitled to be wrong.
The verdict is determined based on loading, prior offences etc.
It functions fine within the parameters around it. Just like the Bunker.
The problem is more to do with those parameters imposed on it
Ie - the fines system is completely f**king stupid and should be scrapped. Things like Sam's hair pulling should result in either a send off or a sin binning and then move on.
