Didnt slater get a massive suspension for kicking a wests player about 9 or 10 years ago. Around 2 months ?

Yep, that was the most unquestionable kick in the face you'll ever see though. Plus he wasn't 'Billy Slater' then. He was that fast fullback from Melbourne

Yep cheers for that. It was worse than this but in the same ballpark.

From memory slater argued he wasnt deliberately targeting skandalis but the mrc ruled that simply kicking backwards while someone is holding your leg is a deliberate attempt to kick the opposition off you to make them let you go.

I tend to agree with the logic. Parker was holding onto kasianos leg and he was kicking him deliberately to get him to let go. Im not sure what grading it should attract but its clear as day kicking imo

Unless I'm mistaken, it appears that Kasiano has apologised to Corey Parker. I respect that, especially on the public forum that he did it in.

But there was no broken jaw so no penalty.

Also you are allowed to stomp on genitals with no penalty either so tell me what's wrong with a swift kick to the face?

Wonder if Parker apologised to Tedesco after Game III?

Even if it was unintentional it was a pretty careless act. He had to expect to kick him somewhere - at least a couple of weeks in my opinion.

One eyed fool :joy:

I'm so offended :sob::sob::sob:

(For what it's worth while I don't think it was deliberate and believe it was a reaction to having his legs pulled, it wouldn't surprise me if he got a week or two for it.)

How is it not deliberate if it was a reaction to having his leg pulled ? Cameron smith managed to argue that flopping around like a fish and catching someone with his foot wasnt deliberate but id love to see someone argue that kicking backwards while another player is holding your leg wasnt deliberate

He's trying to escape from another player doing something. His aim wasn't exactly perfect and I doubt he kicked back with the intention of hitting him in the face.

Porker's hanging on to his boot, big Sam jerks his leg to free it, accidentally cops Porker in his mug. Porker moans and whinges like he does every game. Broncos players and fans have a massive sook. Nothing in it.

Accidentally after he looks downward to get some vision on what he's about to kick at

Ok timmah if parker is holding kasiano's leg and kasiano kicks backwards (because parker was holding his leg) how is that not deliberately kicking parker.

Perhaps it was "self defence" but it was absolutely deliberate

Grade 1 Dangerous Contact. 0-1 weeks, depending on priors and carryovers. Parker by failing to release contributed.
But Kasiano looked. He knew what he was doing.

If he didn't look it would be a different story.

Who knows though with the Greenberg company.

How many weeks for Porker for hanging on to Sam's foot? When is the NRL going to crack down on this grubby act of deliberately holding back a defender?

You can't hold onto to a player after a tackle and you can't lash out at a brother with your boot, there both in the wrong but kicking someone in the face is worse lol

It's hard to argue against IMO. It looked like he kicked upwards, can't argue that was to get back to his feet. The ground is in the other direction. Love the Dogs' passion, but the negative side of it showed tonight with Kas and Graham.

The kick was deliberate, but you can't say the kick in the face was deliberate since he wasn't looking

It was careless, and I say he might miss a month. Parker deserves to be shown more respect
