Speaking of punting… was looking back through the NRL pick ‘em app that I have and noticed a few months back that I had a week where I got 3 out of the 4 margins right and the one I missed was where a team won by 7 and I needed them to win by 6…. I was literally 1 point from a collect and had no f**king idea.

I do like a little punt, but f**k the ads and the way it’s ingrained into the sport is so immoral. It’d be so hard to enjoy sport if you had a gambling problem.

At the start of each season I put $50 in my account and just play around with that. Once it’s gone, that’s it for the season. Had a fair bit luck for the first 10 rounds or so, got it up to $250, cashed out $100 then had a terrible run and was all gone by Origin 2. My only remaining bet is $5 on the good guys to win the premiership @$21 which I put on before a ball was kicked.
