As exciting as SBW is... The biggest thing I'm looking forward to from the kiwis is watching Shaun Johnson and Kieran Foran develop as a halves pairing.

They looked really promoting in the Anzac test... This is going to be an extended chance to see two of the best young halves in the NRL go together.

I agree with you it will be great, but i hope Shaun realises he needs to prove himself and not hyde for most of the game, because we have all been patience waiting for him to prove himself. Kieran well that is a different story how he didn't get the picked for the player of the year. He was the man this year!!!

SBW was MotM in that game. He ripped Souffs a new one as we won the Minor Premiership.

SBW is also 2013 GF winner ... leading the way for his team throughout the finals series.

Sonny is a revelation in rugby league it is his roots

His appearance with the cup winning Blacks was just another experience in his prodigal journey back to the worlds toughest competition in Australia.

That he played for my team this season meant I could see him play each week & talk to him occasionally down at the beach. Never mind the bull$hit, he is a special athlete with strong mentality & a dedication to his preparation that goes beyond the norm.

He will bring a focus to the Kiwis the same way he did for the roosters & it will rub off & engender confidence in the team synergy. The roosters pack ruled in 2013, kept more teams to nil in defence than any other for the past 30 years or so.

They intimidated the Souths/Burgess pack, they owned Jeremy Smith, which is why he cant make it, a trail of broken bodies is testament to how tough they were, simply they DOMINATED....

Most of the Roosters pack will contribute successfully to the Kiwi pack which will give our promising halves combo & our spine what it takes to kick some ar$e in this competition
