In 3 test matches? He played exceptionally in the final one and okay in the other 2 with Nonu taking a break after not getting one after the WC. The Chiefs isn't Tri Nations/Rugby Championship standard. Now as I've said elsewhere, he could certainly get upto that standard but the stops and starts don't help his cause for solidifying anything.

Now he's going to the Roosters he might be the best Second row next year and at the RLWC but by the sound of that press conference, he'll be back in Hamilton with the Chiefs for Super Rugby in 2014. It's not like an undisputed best like McCaw at openside in Union for years or Benji in the past few years at five eight in League.

Fair play to him though really, I know he's Money Bill but he is taking massive risks to fully exploit his limited time as an athlete. He's going to really help the Kiwis next year and hopefully help them defend the title.

Name a better second five in Rugby than him.

Who cares, stick to talking Rugby League here or the posts will be removed.

:? well I would have thought since we are talking about a bloke who is going to be coming back from Rugby Union that Union posts are pretty relevant.

Oops, I hit edit instead of quote for your post, I didn't change anything though, sorry.

But if $BW is playing RL, what's that got to do with Union in a RLWC?

Hopefully Benji or someone at the NZRL gets in his ear.

SBW has made a lot of money thanks to the start he got from junior league in NZ. Time to give something back to the game in NZ maybe?

What do you mean? Give money, sign for the Warriors?

Because I don't know if you had noticed but for the last 3-4 years or so he has been playing Rugby, so that's what we have to judge him on as a player atm and SBW/Union is also very relevant to if he will even play in the RLWC.

Not enough money for him to be interested in playing for the kiwis. I reckon he will opt to play for the Blues and get some of that Origin cash.

My god you are a muppet. Yeah lets talk about SBW circa 2007 in relation to a 2013 tournament and ignore the last 3-4 years of his career. Who would have thought that Union might come up as a topic in relation to a Rugby Union player switching to Rugby League!? Travesty.

Hey, what has the idiot been playing all his life, Rugby or not?

If this merkin plays in the RLWC , wtf is he playing?

Rugby Union?

Rugby League, I fail to see what that has to do with the last 3-4 years of his career. In fact he has pretty much spent the same amount of time playing Pro Rugby as he did Pro League.

Yeah, pro maybe, but what about growing up, what has he played?

It's an easy question to answer, so is the one about what game he would be playing if he made it into the RLWC.

The fact for starters that what was being discussed was the possibility of him playing in the RLWC, of which he may not because he might go back to Union? You are a muppet of the highest order

Rugby League. So what you are effectively saying is that we are not allowed to discuss anything that is current with the player the thread is about? Or that we can only talk about him as a 22 year old and ignore everything that has happened in the last 4 years of sports career? Or that we can't discuss another sport which will quite possibly directly affect his participation in the RLWC2013? One hell of a forum you are advocating here moderator.
