In 3 test matches? He played exceptionally in the final one and okay in the other 2 with Nonu taking a break after not getting one after the WC. The Chiefs isn't Tri Nations/Rugby Championship standard. Now as I've said elsewhere, he could certainly get upto that standard but the stops and starts don't help his cause for solidifying anything.
Now he's going to the Roosters he might be the best Second row next year and at the RLWC but by the sound of that press conference, he'll be back in Hamilton with the Chiefs for Super Rugby in 2014. It's not like an undisputed best like McCaw at openside in Union for years or Benji in the past few years at five eight in League.
Fair play to him though really, I know he's Money Bill but he is taking massive risks to fully exploit his limited time as an athlete. He's going to really help the Kiwis next year and hopefully help them defend the title.
Name a better second five in Rugby than him.
