SCG 4th Test: Australia v India on Jan 6-10, 2015

Fair enough.

My perspective is slightly coloured by the very competitive Test I am currently watching between two very even Teams. Australia seem so unthreatened by the Indian bowlers, it's boring.

To be fair, there has been occasions where they've rattled the batsmen during this series. It's not the fact that they can't take wickets, they can. They can't build pressure and easily let the batsmen back into the match. I'd like to this our tail are pretty decent batsmen, but there's no way they should have been allowed to mount the runs they have this series.

geez that tail is an asset though. I can't count the number of times I've watched them contribute more than their share of crucial runs.

yeah. but can you see India taking 20 wickets?

its not a drop in pitch and I expect it to deteriorate, not sure if they can with all their changes and I think the Spoil Brat should have been a bit more patient but like I said its one session in day 1

looking forward to the next 4 days

that is one thing I like about all these up and coming bowlers

Starc, Pattinson, Cummins.. they can all bat, it should never be a requirement but gee it's handy

even Ashton Agar looks like 1 hell of a batsman

From what I've seen of Agar (and its not a lot) he seems like a batsmen that throws the arm over a bit.

But yeh our tail is very very good.

Very reminiscent of the Windies in there heyday.

Of course. I'm listening myself. All the commentators today have been monotone and boring. Never been the same since Kerry left.

of course not. Geoff Lawson and Quentin Hull for mine are the best on Grandstand.

Drew Morphett is a f**king sap. Thinks he's amusing, wanks over AFL whenever possible.

Gee Sunshine looking nervous next in. Watching every delivery as though its a minefield out there.

I hope the bloke rids of his nerves and anxiety, otherwise send in Lyon (nightwatchman)

Drew Morphett is no more. Last test was his final. His axing is the one good thing to come from the ABC cuts

Thank f**k for that. Morphett was the only one I had a real problem with.

Trent Copeland is pretty bland but he's not painful to listen to.

I thought he was commentating this test, if not, then they found a replacement who sounds just like him
