Yep pretty much, Binga was a world class ODI bowler and should have been a certainty. No surprises S Waugh didn't get a look in. Suprised Gilly made the cut ahead of Berry. Deano and Warney were never close so no suprises with the plastic man agenda driven merkin. That was it
For mine, Dean Jones in for Clarke, Brett Lee for Johnson, and either S Waugh, Hussey or Bevan for Symonds and you're there. Border is possibly borderline too with those 3 - at the end of the day Ponting, Jones and Chappell are locks, then there's the finisher roles
Hussey had the advantage of bigger bats, flatter decks and the rope being in. plus Bevo did it against better quality attacks. I'd have him just ahead of Huss.Hussey is the best one day bat we have had imo. Had an extra few gears that Bevan didn't.
His record is pretty good, nowhere near as good as Binga's. I'd have McDermott over Johnson. What's Notch's One Day stats like? My interest in ODI's has really faded in the last few years
