You can forget things ever returning to normal! This exercise has proved that the world will act like the best of sheep and do whatever their Govt tells them to do! Soon the people will be begging for their vaccines -Not this little black sheep!

Don't think I ever suggested we'll return to normal.Suggested during normal times a certain type of democracy is ideal.Huge sums of money owed, sport having to readjust their financial thinking.

Be thankful our Govt is not a Brazilian,Yank,Chinese,Italian,Iranian,Syrian one for starters.

The people in China acted like sheep, because their Govt hid the truth for some time, and we are now suffering because of it.The young ones around the likes of Bondin, who couldn't give a rats didn't help, nor the idiots who allowed the Ruby Princess passengers go home without proper testing.

And the WHO needs a kick up the kyber ,for bowing to China's influence. They were caught with their pants down.

People are begging for vaccines now.

How long do you need? Bearing in mind the economic, social and health catastrophe upon us.

A while I'd say.

Bearing in mind that I have other things to do and this isn't my primary concern at the moment.

I don't know what you want from me exactly? I'm giving it a chance. I'm happy to see how it goes but I have a few concerns which I've outlined. Maybe I'll have more concerns as they arise over the next week or so. I don't exactly have the resources to go full on into research mode.

Are you an anti vaccination person?

If you are. Do you know what the world would be like if the world’s population was not vaccinated against things like hooping cough etc.

Answer: A bit like how we are now X 100.

Well, I look forward to us being dragged straight out of this mess without a single f**k up by government.

You seem to think I believe the Govt is infallible and ScoMo can do no wrong.Well you are wrong.

The whole crapola is unknown territory so there will be a lots of hits and a few misses.but you have a better chance of getting more hits, when you get advice from experts in their field, and not twitter gimps.
The same no doubt would apply to Albo should he be in power.

I largely agree.

Although I would like to think that there are a number of seats at the table, not just experts that push a barrow for a particular interest group. I think it's reasonable for people on twitter or League Unlimited to voice their concerns about how something will effect them personally. It's all welcome in the mix, in my view.

The interest group involved are State Govt premiers and health, health and finance experts. The barrow they are pushing is life survival and financial survival.
There "ain't " nothing else that is more important ,than those.

Financial experts for whose interest though? Banks? Taxpayers? workers? The homeless? Big business? Small business? Doctors? Taxi drivers? Uber drivers? The guy that sells hotdogs outside the SFS?

That's quite myopic considering they are pulling some blunt policy levers which have the potential to benefit or hinder a variety of different groups with very different needs.

If some small business guy wants to get on twitter and say that it's going to f**k him up/ or miss him in some specific way then I'm happy to hear it.

This is a huge package and it's healthy to consider the broad array of potential consequences.

It's a bit socialist, but the money is being handed to business to sort it out. Which I guess really is in-line with Liberal Party thinking. All in all, I guess they are probably more a pro-business party than a free market party. I want to keep my job. I want to life to return to normal after all this. I don't really mind business being given a bit of a hand through all this but I worry about it being exploited and not fulfilling the purpose as effectively as hoped.
They've brought "the workers" down to $750/week, Govt will be paying. They've brought the "non workers" up to $550, or $600, per week, Govt will be paying.
There is the infamous "curve" they've been talking about....
I respect your opinion, I do think you may be over thinking this one a little, more power to you I suppose.

And I dont mean anything by the "non workers" quotation, it was just to show a point. I feel for everyone who has been put under enormous pressure in this situation.

Yeah, I am cynical by nature.

Look, if it works out well then power to them. It's just that the devil is always in the detail. And I know where this party traditionally like to put their weight. I've got some concerns but they're in the drivers seat and need to do something. So I'm happy to give them air and let them see how it all unfolds.

If you put it like that much earlier there would be about 60 less pages on here
