Scomo saving me

Having a good cry for someone defending a hitler comparison.

That was a good come back. Did you dream of locking any more children up when you wrote it?

Yeah, imagine me suggesting it is dangerous for democracies to erode their freedoms. My wild defense of pointing out that when they do that, they can become authoritarian states like Nazi Germany.

But no, that can't happen, say the right wing acolytes on this thread. They throw funky memes at me and say I'm having a good cry.

And then, in the coronavirus crisis, we have Hungary.

You are having a good cry on one hand about the ‘nasty’ conservatives and happy to leap to the defence of a vile ‘scummo hitler’ rant on the other. I find the hypocrisy breathtaking. You’re the most myopic one here.

You keep calling me out for that. You haven't yet even remotely discussed the points I made, and have actively misrepresented them in other posts.

Here's some yes/no questions for you. You're a fan of those, I believe.

Do you think that politicians in democracies can erode the democratic processes until they become authoritarian states?

Is that what happened in Nazi Germany?

Do you think those authoritarian states, like Nazi Germany, can be very dangerous?

Should we be trying to make sure our politicians don't erode our democratic processes?

If they do erode our democracy, can we point out that those sorts of actions can build up and lead to authoritarian states?

Do I think it’s ridiculous and insulting to call scummo a nazi and then try to turn it into a democratic erosion debate? Yes

Are you a vegan?

no I’m not a vegan

I don’t have anything against vegans who keep their veganism to themselves.
The ones blocking people going to work and raiding farms can get f**ked.

I do question why a vegan ( who is a vegan based on animal cruelty principles) would want to eat a meat substitute that tastes like meat.

anyway I’m sure you’ll completely disagree
Blame scomo
The usual shit.

See, you didn't have to add those last three lines. I said nothing about Scomo.

I'm starting to think it's more you telling everyone that they blame Scomo for everything rather than everyone blaming Scomo for everything.

Not a bad post other than that. But I'm not quite sure why a meat tasting substitute is a bad thing for people who don't want to eat an animal. You might like the flavour of bat soup but not the Covid.

Sorry you can't read very well.

I see you're still avoiding the point.
I see you still won’t acknowledge your defence of a ‘scummo is a nazi’ post was shit, which is why I won’t answer your follower questions. I prefer to point out your myopic hypocrisy. I answer questions all the time from the less nasty on here, like BBBs one.

You didn’t have to ask if I was a vegan
Why did you?
Veganism had nothing to do with my actual post.
I basically pre-emoted the next question you’d write if I didn’t try to cover everything

To answer your last question
Some people are vegans Based on health reasons.
They may love meat but can’t eat it.
I know a girl like this.

some just think it’s cool
You know teenage girls and shit.

some claim they are appalled by the thought of eating meat.
They’re the ones I find hypocritical for eating meat flavoured substitutes.

I thought Wibble was talking about the slippery slope to authoritarianism, rather than Scomo being an out and out Nazi.

I asked because you were critical of eating bats and I was wondering whether you extended that to all animal life forms. Just wondering where your line was.

I don't know what hot take you thought I'd have on Scomo and veganism. Maybe if you let me speak for myself rather than pre-empting me we could actually find some common ground and be cordial.
