We aren't poor as a side. Just average in execution. We fix that we can be a force cos our defence is quite good.
Beaten by Jed Bogan. That sums it up. Pathetic. RIP 2013. Bennett's aura, legacy or whatever you want to call it is dying a quick death with this lot. I said after the Penrith game to look at the ladder in 6 weeks time because we would be on the same points. I was wrong .... but not by much.
We are the team every loves to play because in most cases we drop to their level and give them a sniff which is all they need. We are guaranteed to run them back into form.
Seriously if we had half a clue we would have put 40 on them, bogey team or not because they have been a rabble. But we find a way to choke in the end, again.
Constantly hoping for the return of injured players isn't a strategy, because by the time they are back on deck, there will be too much to do, just like last year, we are losing games that we should be winning easily, we just fold as soon as the opposition come at us hard. We can beat up teams that self destruct, but if there's an arm wrestle , we will lose 10/10.
Season may not be over but if history is a guide, then it doesn't look promising.
If we play like we did against the Storm against the Tits, Dogs and Penrith we'll win all 3 easily. If we play like we did against the Dragons we'll obviously lose. What worries me about the Titans and Dogs games is that we've already flogged both of them. That will make them more determined to beat us. At least we're at home against the Titans and given the Dogs game is in Mackay that takes away their home ground advantage.
