Nah the question is, why did he not care if the club went down, like it would have, if the development did not go through

I doubt any politician would accept a club in their electorate falling down.It will come back to haunt them.
One thing about Aussies we have long memories. And I wasn't happy with politicians wanting to cut back on the development.
There were some Sharks' fans living nearby the development, who were against the height of the original plans.I live further away so couldn't give rat's ring about the height.Just wanted the club to survive.

Even the late Peter Provan's wife on the council was against the development. And of course who could forget George and his protests.

Jenny makes him do that. (Except when Feef has initials scrawled on his wrist bandage)

And at least Albo was one of many who took to the streets when Souffs were thrown out.

I bet Smirky McGutless wouldn't of given two shits if we didn't get the development through and finally had to fold.

Souths were thrown out, the Sharks were not. Politiians go with the flows,if it means more electoral support.

Just worth noting it was through Costello we got the $9.6m grant for the Southern Stand.
And ScoMo on 5th Oct 2016 according to the SMH, wants other levels of Govt to help fund redevelopment of Shark's stadium.Suggesting he does give a sh*t.Because if he doesn't losing Cook as a P.M ain't a good look, ask Howard.

The construction work now is a joint ownership of Parkview and a Chinese Group.Don't give a stuff about the politics involved, as long as they build a you beaut Leagues club, where I can down the amber stuff, solve the words problems with mates, have a meal with she who must be obeyed and after the game give a critique on sh*t refereeing. The latter means I'll be there all night.

The arrangement with Morrison is worth it if the club gets a big cheque to build the COE. Costello delivered the grant for the Monty Porter Stand.

Mate be thankful he gives our club publicity. He was a union man in the past ,so the f*ck was I at school.Couldn't watch 5 minutes of union now.You got me started.
Lib leaders are hardly on their Pat Malone.
Partially off subject ,yet relevant ,I remember at my daughter's netball match had a friendly banter with an AFL(ex Vic) loving father at Bellingarra Courts, and he stated he was a Steve Rogers fan, now he follows the Sydney Ducks.People change allegiances.

We had Labor leaders like Whitlam the member for Werriwa & Pm who wouldn't have a clue what rugby league was.Bob Motor Carr who attended once a SOO and was reading some classical book.Even Albo the staunch Rabbitoh, caught out with an AFL players shirt playing some seniors game. And Shifty Shorten how many Storm games has he been to.Keneally she been to games?Gillard who provided Obama with a AFL Sherrin football and taught him how to handball.

And the Chief Minister of the ACT Barr (Labor) who pushes money regularly the AFL way, whilst the Raiders stadium needs a lot of work.
And the fact that league hating gimp, FitzSimons hates rl with a passion, yet is a great fan of the above leaders, makes me double down.
Got that off my chest, thus I must be evil .

The question is did he Morrison ask to be No 1 ticketholder, or did the club use him?

ha. Barr
cant stand him

we are NEVER getting that stadium.

Is this worthy of a thread? He is our number 1 ticket holder at our season launch. Big deal.

Does anyone know when Scomo became a Sharks supporter? Was it before that glorious day in 2016?.....according to folklore he shat himself on the evening of the Super League grand final. Was he a fan back then?
When he shit himself at Engadine Maccas?
