Johnson averages 41 in England with the ball from 8 tests(pretty good sample size),if Starc wasn't injured id get rid of him as well,id probably get rid of Adam Voges for Joe Burns too.

Someone > Johnson
Nevill > Haddin
Burns > Voges
Marsh > Twatto

Many sackings if i was selector:cool:,Haynetrain don't take kindly to losing to Pommy plodders

Problem is, Notch is our most consistent middle order bat

Geez i hope the 'personal reasons' reported don't refer to another family illness. I know ive hammered Hads' form but really hope its nothing terrible like that.

Yeah hopefully it is nothing too serious

If it was, you'd assume he would have announced he is out of the whole series. I know I would

Well personal reasons aside, he should have been dropped anyway, he was hopeless the whole 1st test. I'm glad I don't have to see him drop Root on 0, or go about mindless slogging while batting. Nevill is perfect.

Nevil, the guy who averaged 75 with the bat last shield season and is a solid keeper.
well good luck to him...he is in.

Haddin not dropped...personal reasons they say..

Got to ask is this reverse Trott?

Or is a family member sick or alike?

Either way, hope you are ok Hadds and may your replacement do well.

Hope it doesn't have something to do with his daughter.

I can't see him missing a test for anything other than family reasons. He doesn't seem the type to be affected by cricket like Trott

Good luck to Nevill. Hope he makes the spot his own

Pretty insensitive mate. It's only a game at the end of the day.

Pretty gutsy move from Hads, stayed out for most of 2012 and fought his way back in. Must be pretty important to him so hope all is OK. Haddin being out just might save Watson's arse as they dont like too many changes.

Be interesting if Neville makes another 70 or so.

Starc bowling at full pace in the nets is good news.
