I don’t want Boyd in the side but how do you punt a $750k per season player to Qld Cup?

Josh Reynolds and Greg Eastwood are playing reserve grade. And I'd rather have the both of them in the Broncos team ahead of Boyd. We've already wasted our money, so why lose more games with his half heartedness.

Yup, he's been great. I never knew he had a kicking game like that but he has alot of control which really compliments the way the Tigers have been playing.

My point still stands. He started in reserve grade for the year, despite being Wests marquee player.

Reynolds was in reserve grade mainly because it'd been nearly a year since playing 1sts. Fitness was obviously a concern

He's looking like another cynical media hype job at the moment.

I don’t know if it was so much the media or he just inherited a team at Souths which was totally broken under Madge. Perhaps anyone going in to that side was going to be a breath of fresh air and get results.

He inherited a team that Maguire that taken beyond their abilities, they then with Seibold's help ended up with their heads up their asses. He white anted Madge thinking he was clever and has shown us all over the last 6 months especically, what a dud and a dick he his.

Fool on the clubs which chased and appointed Cleary and Seibs in 2019, and both coaches for thinking they were bigger and more accomplished than what they were. These two have achieved nothing in coaching to date. The correct choice for both men as contracted coaches was to remain at their incumbent clubs and continue to build on their 2018 seasons.

In the case of Seibold, it is too soon to write him off. Even Robinson has had a wooden spoon year. Patience is required from supporters, media and club who are extremely impatient for results. Anyone interested in the Bronx have to realise that they have close to the worst halves in the comp. They struggled under Bennet and won’t compete until they make 2 big signings or unearth some young guns at 6/7 and 9.

Madge was rebuilding the team from the post Premiership salary cap crunch and also had some real bad luck with injuries in 2016-17.

His decisions brought in a lot of young players like Crichton, Cook, Walker, Jennings, Murray, Burns who really came into their own in the last 12-24 months. There’s every likelihood Madge could have had a great 2018 with all of these recruitment and development choices finally starting to click

There’s a lot to say about Seibolds freshness that may have helped but he also benefited a lot from the team that Madge had built

I don’t know there was players like the twins, Sutton, Reynolds and others who looked all washed up and truely found form again last season. Madge’s time at Souths was over no matter what he did, I watched us more than enough to know that.
