If Moylan comes back and the team plays like that we are the top 4 quality team we should have been all year.

Edit: Moylan also didn't let the team down. He showed up for them and even interacted with fans. He's a good boy and has done the club proud.

Got a phone call last night with someone pointing out that on the post match channel nine,Moylan was a big chance of playing next week.

Gutsy win. Enjoyed the night out there supporting the boys. Any bullsh!t about the club being divided by the media can be put to rest after that.

Actually,I would be surprised if Gus played the media as a diversion of sorts just to take the pressure away from the Panthers after the hiding from Manly.

But whatever is going on,I bet Moylan plays next Friday.

Great game.
Loved seeing Cartwright in the thick of things, our forwards got their pride back and Cleary steered us around beautifully.
The last few weeks have been awful for our club but that performance will fix a lot of the things that have been broken.
That type of win improves a club from top to bottom, relationships, attitude and belief.

Fishy fish seems to be our worst for penalties lately. He needs to chill. I was yelling at him to get up as well. You could see the penalty coming and it wasn't the only one he gave.

Fish has this constant rubbish in his game.Needs to really concentrate on his discipline.

Joey on the call seemed to see the 'dubious ' calls our way.

Wally put a ton on Manly cause he just backed them all the way. Silly old coot.

Still we scored off two lucky kicks and a pushover. So no football beauty there.

Same here...nothing in the online news scribes except in the SMH (quoting a jorno from the Australian) that Moylan will be going to Manly.

Edwards twice was put in great space. Once held the ball with Whare/DWZ unmarked. 2nd threw the pass behind Dallen which led to their try. So there was a few chances

The first one was a genuine overlap and chance, the only one in 30 minutes of dominance camped on their line, it was pitiful. The second if DWZ takes that ball he's getting crunched and nothing more.

Turn the ball back in, turn the ball back in, turn the ball back in. A couple of early balls to Yeo so the defence could slide and set by the time he got there. As far as getting through a decent set defence off anything but a kick, unless the line unreasonably opens up in front of CHN Cleary has nothing, and May has nothing until the last 20 minutes when he might find some tired defenders to step through.

Some of his charges upfield were brutal. Solid nuggetty bastard,the kind that are built low to the ground.

He looked really good in the 9s and has been close to our best forward each week in NSW Cup. Hopefully this gives him the confidence to kick on.

Those set plays were beautiful and should have led to tries.

Can't say we struggled in attack had a few moves like that. May took the wrong option to go short a few times but we had good shape in attack. Much better

Did someone say Moylan was available next week? No doubt we need him desperately in attack but I also think defensively we are a much better unit without him.

Take Katoa's bench spot has barely played the last 2 months but we need him even if only for 20 mins or so

They just need to see that in the video session this week and realise set plays are a positive thing and to try and learn a few. They looked genuinely dangerous with Cleary going at the line with options but they don't do it very often.

But we did do it a lot on the right, and most times it resulted in a simple 3 on 3 and Edwards having to hit the brakes. That first half hour with just Cleary and May we reverted back to the team that couldn't get the ball wider than the fringe forwards.
