If he is not fit to play as a consequence of his hamstring issue the club can openly provide such information.

Being unavailable for selection due to a counselling session that MUST take place this Friday and cannot be rescheduled 'smells'. I am sorry but something is wrong here. Matt can have counselling every day next week if we are eliminated including our mad Monday.

Not really. I get the run around with Doctors appointments all the time.
Maybe that is the only date the Counsellor has on his/her books.
I am sure they see other patients. If they are any good I am sure they are booked out.

I would hope the most obvious scenario is his hamstring injury is preventing him from playing.

Perhaps the club is playing games and there will be a late exemption application to allow him to play.

Lastly, one for the conspiracy theories is the club are trying to force him out.

For what its worth I see no reason for the club to be telling lies about Matt Moylan..... If the guy has some problems that are around mental health..... well we should respect the process. If this was a case of player hates coach and cant work with him he would of backed his bags on the way out of the Monday meeting.

Look at Gus's comments on the Hayne mess at the Titans.... He was quoted as saying '' The new coach wont have a problem with Hayne if he abides by the culture of the club and his team mates..... but if he doesn 't don't let the door hit your arse on the way out''..... Thats what he said...

As a twist of fate my wife and I cannot go the game on Friday night because of Doctor's appointments but it is an entirely different situation not be be gone into here.

We have however booked flights and accommodation to be in Melbourne for next week on the off chance we do beat the Bronco's.

Should we win we will be there with bells on to support us against the Storm. If not, we will enjoy a nice weekend in a great city. I truly hope we are at AAMI next weekend to watch our team go around for a shot at the GF.

Perhaps councelling involves initailly implementing a plan to Matt,then sent him away to go and be on his own, and give feedback in regards to their last meeting in whatever the issue is.

Like someone mentioned earlier,this is a process that is undertaken by qualified proffessionals in this field of practice.

Yeah I really doubt he has been left out because of a scheduling conflict. It would seem more likely to do with the doctor or whoever he is seeing hasn't cleared him IMO. Either that or they don't want to disrupt a winning team.
