We scored four tries in the finals and Cartwright had a hand in all 4. Basically it came down to us having to rely on individuals and Cartwright with some luck was the only one capable. The coach should have been able to produce more than that from this team. And it sucks because I don't think he sees it that way and there's a good chance nothing will change next season.

He looked disinterested, took poor options and didn't seem like he gave a shit

Just seems like a selfish player and I don't think you can fix that
Wallace is crap he obviously can't pass left I am amazed people can't see this

I never said the clubs were alike at all. The club and fans are happy with being crap because we'll be good one day. We've been hearing that for a while now and it's starting to become a habit

Crap as well. We dominated the forwards battle after a slow start. Our attack let us down. Frantic and inexperienced. I don't judge how good players can become until they play 50 FG games. Our spine excluding Wallace haven't got there yet.

Cleary can not be the attacking focus, just isn't there yet if ever.

Said a few times but I really feel Cleary is more of a running half. To me he's much more of a natural second receiver.

But then I don't believe Moylan could be a first receiver, so we either need to make Cleary/Moylan work or find a genuine first receiver.

Wow I can't believe the Carty apologists

That chip and chase was disgraceful and shows the guy has no situational awareness, not to mention the other shit passes where he got his teammates smashed.

Surely people aren't gonna give him credit for that RCG try?

Or... we allow Cleary time to develop. I see similarities between Thurston and Cleary at the same age.

Without Cartwright we don't score a try this finals series, that's just simple reality despite how hard you're intent on denying reality.

Yes our attack let us down. If Griffin could coach attacking structures and had the balls to leave Katoa on we likely win instead of falling back on the nonsense of "inexperience" and "we'll be better next year."

Wallace should of been gone for Rein/Katoa after the first month. Would of helped our attack ten fold. Few of us called that at the time.

I don't think we were too bad tonight. Brisbane were very solid defensively and crippled our already poor attack in the red zone by slowing the play the ball to a standstill. Gillett should of been in the bin right before halftime after he held down RCG after his line break and again at about the 60min mark when JFH split them and nearly went over. Big moments But that's the luck of the draw sometimes.

No doubt Moylan would of created more opportunities but we also would of been chasing 2 or 3 tries more with him on the field.

Mate, seriously?

Moylan was huge in 2016.

21 try assists, equal 3rd in the comp.

Never doubted his attack. Its not just about that though. We've needed him in games and he's gone missing. He's thrown garbage passes.little to no urgency at fullback.

We can all harp on about his attack but what about everything else?

Loves to have the ball in hand but theres many examples where he's been less effective.

Moylan doesn't win us that game. Nor would he have won us more than we did. He had a chance to be part of the team. Where was he?

May has JUST come into first grade off the back of Moylans Injury/Issues. A pre-season and he will give us more than moylan ever did.

Ill drive him to Manly if he needs a lift.

More than Moylan ever did? FMD

When May comes equal 3rd in try assists wake me up. He never will, because he's a running lock.

This is the Penrith problem, always looking for the next big thing, not focusing on what we have.
