Never said that...playing rep footy used to be about pride & honour...not money

For a guy like Semi Radradra, who grew up in comparative poverty compared to us, he can do more for his country and family with that $30k from representing Australia. If that means sacrificing some perceived sense of pride and honour that others are bestowing on him, so be it.

Then why not stop pretending there's an international game and just have an expanded World Series with no wage cap because that's effectively what being advocated.

What he spends his money on is upto him..but it shouldn't be at the cost of the integrity of the sport..

When your family lives in poverty, and you have the ability to drag them out of it, I some how doubt that integrity of a sport would matter much to you.

If it does though, and you place sport that high up, you have your priorities all f**ked up.
