Fair enough.
Poor choice of words.
I'm just a bit over some of the other comments on here that go uncontested by the mods that clearly are claiming his guilt.
I'm still of the opinion that the law will take this case into its own hands, and that whatever some may think. I will always consider any person innocent until proven otherwise.

If Semi or the priest do confirm that as alleged (in sworn evidence) Semi had (said) that he had "used his hands" on his partner, then the (alleged) prick deserves his contract terminated.

what if the priest confirms he said that: "I used my hands"...but Semi is then found not guilty? Like there was a scuffle but no evidence of a punch. Still flip out time??

I'll treat him like another person who is innocent until proven guilty.
Not sure the same can be said for others.

I'll treat him like a guy who doesn't seem fully committed to Parramatta and never has - but is an amazing footballer and a joy to watch. (In other words, with a degree of ambivalence.)

Lol at the keyboard lawyers on here second guessing everything. And tsk at the (alleged) victim blaming...

Adjourned is not a clear not guilty, as some were presuming we'd see.

Semi had been a naughty enough boy for sworn evidence to be provided in a court against him.

Here's a link from a decent news publication on today's proceedings:

Why was the witness' attendance far from certain? Have you pondered what assumptions are you making, and how those might be (subconsciously) affecting the rest of what you write?
Well two of the witnesses weren't planning to attend the initial hearing date so I'd say Barry was quite reasonable in making that comment.

"Prosecutors initially applied to postpone Monday's hearing because two of their witnesses were due to attend a conference in Victoria."

Wow decent news publication... No wonder you think so little of him. On just a cursory glance apparently Semi has already confessed. You can join 111 as people I hope are never on my jury

Not sure about all of this talk on the technicalities of domestic violence from a bunch of pussy whipped, Ned Flander-esque piffens who couldn't rip the skin off a custard tart.
