Honestly, I think Bart can make some solid contributions. I really do.

But I think he does spend a lot of his time trying to rustle people's jimmies, that people tend not to take what he says as anything of substance.

I suppose that in this instance, I was in the wrong; he (and by extension, you) was correct, in that Semi hadn't seen his kid for a while, and he should do something about it.

A girl "with a very short fuse" and they were arguing all the time? She could have a personality disorder, you know. My step-son is involved with a Japanese girl who just can't control her moods. She has attacked him with scissors, laid into him with her fists, you name it. He won't retaliate, but has been living in misery for a couple of years now. when things are running smoothly she will somehow engineer an argument and it always turns out badly. He hasn't left her because she can turn on the charm and can be very loving, romantic, etc. She is a highly manipulative young lady. She's probably very good in bed, too. Things can be a hell of a lot more complicated in real life than they are in the papers.
As for his daughter, do you not think that she is playing some part in not allowing him to see her?

Just to look at it from another angle: we have a young lady who has accused him of various instances of domestic violence; by Semi's own admission, the couple argued a lot; there have been court proceedings pending for the last six months. Does anyone seriously think that Semi could have just rocked up to the front door and said, "Hi, honey, it's me. I've just come to see my daughter"? I think it would have been a lot more complicated than that.

If it was that they would have pushed on. Overly aggressive tactics don't go down well with judges unless they are scoring the relevant points. She got caught lying man. Just accept it. Women lie about this stuff a lot. It is not a big deal unless you buy into this "men are bad women are good" crap.

I don't disagree, and I'm not foolish enough to suggest that this sort of situation is black and white.

I was merely saying that I could agree with the assertion that Semi could have actively done things to see his daughter, instead of going to the media.

However, I don't think Semi has done anything wrong here; domestic violence is a scourge on society, and rarely is it ever an open and shut case, and it makes things tough for everyone.

You're just going off some puff piece from Radradra's manager and assuming that the situation is the same as someone you know.

The more likely scenario is:

* Radradra isn't a saint.
* They are both responsible for getting themselves into the shit situation they did.
