I subscribe to the whole innocent until proven guilty process and don’t think he should be stood down. But at the same time, it’s a bit unfair for some people to say that his partner is making it up and criticising her for taking a long time to report the incidents. They have no idea of the circumstances.

Parra's number 1 fan was on hand to greet Semi at the airport:

If Parra have any integrity they will suspend Semi immediately pending the investigation. If he s proven guilty he must have his contract torn up. The NRL if they are fairdinkum will de-register players and refuse to register them for a period much the same as with drug cheats.

It won't be a popular decision for some, but if the game is going to be seen as taking a meaningful stance against domestic violence then they must take action.

Garbage. Innocent until proven guilty is the corner stone of our criminal justice system.

Even if he is convicted we need to have a good look at what it is that has happened before jumping to conclusions. De-registration is an option on the table nothing more.

People need to try to think about these things without emotion and above all try not to be persuaded by media hysteria about causes and issues.

It really is best that we don't comment on it at all. None of us have any evidence but the media will fan the flames for months. Attacking either party at this stage is baseless muckraking.

A close friend of mine went through this process when she broke up with her ex and he wouldn?t leave her alone, calling 50 times a day, leaving threatening messages, texting threatening messages, turning up on her property etc over a 6 month period. Getting an AVO wasn?t difficult but getting the police to a point where they?ll actually step in and do something takes some work. I?d assume that she?d have to have more than her story to back her up.

How did the police end up getting you to leave the poor girl alone?

They informed me that she was a Knights supporter and I decided that nobody needs that amount of sh*t in their lives.

Ah once you found out she was a Novocastrian you shit your pants and realised she was too much woman for you, understandable.

Troubled Parramatta star Semi Radradra has told the NRL club he wants to play against Cronulla.

Radradra snuck into training on Friday morning and bypassed the media as coach Brad Arthur spoke to reporters.

Radradra's first training session in two weeks lasted 45 minutes and it came hours after he was arrested by police after his arrival in Sydney from Fiji.

He was charged with three counts of domestic violence against his ex-partner in 2014 and 2015.

Radradra was released on conditional bail.

Earlier Arthur said he would give Radradra the option of standing down from his side's NRL clash against the Sharks on Saturday night.

"I don't know a lot about it. It's happened really quickly. I tried to put in a call this morning and I'm not sure where it's at," Arthur said before the training session.

Asked whether he would give Radradra the option of standing down, Arthur said: "Yes."

Pressed further on whether Radradra would be in the right frame of mind to play, he said: "Like I said, I haven't spoken to Semi (so) we'll talk to him and see where he's at.

"The first process is we need to talk to Semi and his manager and see how he is. The priority for us is his welfare at the moment. Until I've spoken to him, it's very hard.

"Whether I'm happy with it or not, that's just how it is. That's the situation.

"We need to talk to Semi and need to go through the whole process. We need to speak to the NRL. There's a lot of stuff to happen."

Parramatta confirmed they were aware of the charges on Friday morning, and that they would work closely with the NRL's integrity unit on the matter.

"This is a serious matter and the club is treating it as such," director Geoff Gerard said.

"In accordance with our club's values, Semi will be afforded the presumption of innocence."

She does. It's called a Media Storm.

Your friend isn't anyone the rest of the world cares enough about for there to be any media coverage at all. But when it's someone the media will write about, and it's in every newspaper, and across every tv channel, then the police will have no alternative but to at the least step in to be seen to be doing something, else everyone will cry foul and that they aren't doing their job.

Innocent til proven guilty.
If innocent, expect a law suit.
If guilty, contract torn up and not able to be registered by any club for a considerable time.

I'm all for players being able to return to the game after any convictions/gaol time etc, but only after a period of being forcibly retired and then only if they complete appropriate courses to make sure that they are fully rehabilitated. The game must take a stance against any player convicted of a criminal offence, but unless it is something like murder/rape etc, they shouldn't be rubbed out forever. (Caveat - repeat offenders should be).

Its nice to see everyone learnt something from the SKD situation...

I'm thinking Shaun Kenny Downsyndrome may have been guilty of domestic violence. I've never seen anyone who can king hit a game of football in the face like he does.

Chook.

Hahaha
Male commentators can say whatever the f**k they want
Yet when pretty much the only female voice in the game comments on something that
has been in the game and all over the news, she's out of line?
She's right
Her timing is perfect

This is a joke right?

If she was scared of him she should have taken it to the police immediately and seeked protection of some sort.

Btw Semi hasn't been convicted of anything, so f**k off with your criminal bullshit.

Haha

Get a grip
I suggested a scenario why she hasn't reported it you dope.
You have no idea what happened.
Neither have I .

f**k me
Imagine If every single beaten woman reported it to police ?
id suggest a very large majority do not report it.

Wake up
