Check "Joe's Magpies" OP. He cited Weidler's Twitter account, and #nrl. There is nothing at either place.

The story was actually reported on Channel 9 News by Weidler. "Joe's Magpies" can't remember where he picks up his rumours. He needs to be accurate on his sources.

Parramatta had Semi and they still have him if he ever wants to step foot inside Australia again. He can go play in France if he wants, but if he returns to Australia he will possibly face legal action if he doesn't make an agreement with Parramatta.

The contracts are watertight. He won't be able to play anywhere in the world whilst he is contracted to the Eels. The problem is if he doesn't want to be there then there is no point keeping him so they need to reach some sort of settlement with him and be compensated for their loss

His dream was to be the best Fijian player ever, which could only be achieved by playing for Australia.....and NSW.....but he can't because he was born and raised in Fiji until 19, which was odd because I always assumed Fiji was part of Queensland.
