Maybe might be able to covert to a half in the future, they also said steve morris, perry haddock and alf langer were all too small for league.Good highlights, all the forwards having their moments.. running decoys.. but I am all aboard the Jesse Williams train.. the #5 winger.. he has real power in that frame and speed.. a couple of times he runs 20m along the sideline leaving defenders in his wake.. or when he cruises up in support behind the other winger who is running 50m at full speed trying to score a try... while Jesse is still in 3rd gear.. he doesn't look like a light weight at all either which is often the problem with the speedsters..... definitely exciting.
TPH (Peckham-Harris) once again in everything.. would be ace if he kicks on.. I know its against the odds at that size.. but occasionally it works... dunno how he is under the high ball? He would need to be a really good leaper.

I hope that with the amount of "future stars" that seem to have been unearthed in the games of the successful Dragons and Steelers juniors to date that we don't fall for the same dramas that we had with the likes of Sloan, Sullivan, Amone, Feagai boys, Dufty, Field, etc. With Flanno on board and the other coaches we now have I'm sure that these new kids on the block will be looked after and developed "properly" so that they will do things that we have been critical on those others like defence etc.The 6 and 3 in the Steelers SG Ball look really good and I can see them being future NRL Dragons stars. If they continue how they are going they will be in NRL sooner than we think.

Isn't It easy to just scroll past if you have already read something ?
P.S On that note, after more than 10 years, it's probably time for someone else to take over the posting.... @Dragon David ??
Taking the BEST of the clubs juniors and turning them into 1st gradersThe challenge is getting the cream of these U19 kids to 1st grade level.. its the part we have done very very poorly over a long period of time.. I remember Gus saying that the Roosters were the #1 development club in the NRL.. and thinking wtf r u talking about.. but he's talking about this bit.. taking other clubs juniors and turning them into 1st graders.
