Its shaping up to be a great game Ronnie.

They'll go hard mate.

Bit of a renaissance on the horizon and you're playing against your mates for a spot.

Best of the best fighting it out. It's the way it should have always worked, but of course we're all experts in hindsight.

What matters is that it works now.

Shows me the problems definitely aren't football related. There's some foundation there the pathways are building from.

I think both Millward and Stanley deserve a pat on the back.

Issues have been far above them. Flanno with Webb on his side is the bridge.

Play each other in Round 7 I think.
This is actually the only televised game too all season (apart from finals), im toying with the nswrltv thing, i just wish there was a couple of other games, even if no commentary.

I think both Millward and Stanley deserve a pat on the back.
I think a lot of the young signings were done prior to Flanagan coming onboard, it hasnt led to any results though until this year. I keep hearing Kyle Stanleys name though, sounds like hes everyones mate at that level.. looks after them.

Both steelers and Dragons killing it, Im prepared to say both these sides will have a big year, there are some good lads in both these sides
I can still remember the interview with Flanagan months ago, where he said he would rebuild the club from the base up.
Saying then that 3 seperate academies would be established for our juniors
One in St George, one in the Illawarra and one for the elite St George Illawarra juniors.
I think already we are starting to see the green shoots in the way our junior teams, more so our SG Ball teams are performing that the changes implemented are showing positive results so far.

Williams is fast becoming my favourite junior ok there are a few, but hes top 3 lol.. almost the first highlight reel I saw, he has a hulking physical physique and the speed is an absolute bonus, I wasnt expecting that.. so hes the ideal winger... ofcourse he still needs to develop and defend and do the basics..

The qn I think is who plays wing in JF and Cup this year, Williams has Roberts and potentially Rumble in front of him (hopefully Rumble gets the fullback gig though), but in Cup there is already guys like SFinau, Mat Feagai, Tuipulotu.. absolutely fascinating to me, to see who they try to fast-track..

Poor Steelers centre Charles heidke knocked out cold and in a bad way. Hope he is ok, he is a good player. Steelers halves experience really shows. St George are playing with great confidence. The forwards lay the platform and they just play off them. Peckham Harris is a great FB setting a try up off his first touch and always sniffing around the ruck scoring a try off a loko Tonga off load. They love a good scrum play too off halangahu. Hopefully the highlights are up tomorrow :)
