Flanno "agreed to terms" as assistant coach and most probably will run the pre-season with the Sea Eagles until Seibold finishes his Union commitments with Eddie Jones.

Funny how this has panned out. I wonder if Flanagan was offered coaching for the Dragons (head or assistant) but he turned us down because he knows how toxic the BOD are. Why Manly for him then? I don't think he and Seibold have worked together before? Has he been offered a good deal or does he just want to be part of the Sea Eagles?

In any case, kick him out now and make sure he hasn't spoken to any of our young guns to defect to the Sea Eagles.

Don’t know what happened at the Board meeting today, unless it’s scheduled for tonight, but it may be time for an extraordinary meeting.

Love him or loathe him, surely Flanagans move over the bridge is another example of the shambles the club is in.

You just can’t make this shit up.

DD, we know that the Dragons are a poorly run club, but Manly make our management look good! Their one advantage is that Penn will occasionally throw a couple of dollars into the Manly pot. I hope those dud Gordons read that!

Flanno seems to be gone to Manly. What is going on here?
Mr. Griffin should go now and Hasler to be signed up immediately.

Hasler to conduct pre-season training and finish the roster for 2023 and beyond.

worst run club in th eNRL...honestyly a real embarrassment as supporters..shame on this curent board and no 1 culprits .......the Gordons!!

Apparently Flanno is denying that he has even been contacted by Manly, and certainly hasn't come to any agreement to be AC there. More rubbish journalism??

It is all related to the behavior of those at the top of the tree. Craig Young should sack Griffin now and then tender his own resignation; can take Peter Doust with him.

We need a fresh start and I say, Hasler is the man to turn things around. Sign him up now before someone else does.

Given that Flanno is denying any contact with Manly, I'd like to see Hasler as the head coach with Flanno as an assistant coach. Pay them well and we may be able to turn things around.

Of course, we need a management cleanout as well. The NRL should come in and sack the Board, and replace the head of football and the CEO. Now there is a road to follow!

Given this latest news concerning Flanno, I’d say maybe he is in the box seat to replace Hook when he’s sacked soon!

I can only imagine there’s some jostling going on behind the scenes to fix the stench around the club at minimal collateral.
Either that or Flanno is a good liar!

No apparently sacking Des and hiring the guy who took Brisbane to their first wooden spoon is a sign of good management.

Oh and those same people want us to appoint the guy who had his players injected with PEDs and then lied about it. That would be good management apparently.

there have been 2 more reports today that Flanagan is joining Manly, if this guy is lying about this appointment, it will really piss me off, given the fact he doesn't want to face the fans about his lack of effort in his role, let alone remain in it whilst going to our competitors

You actually want a coach who put his players health in danger, lied to his players about what they were being injected with, and then lied and said Dank never had any contact with players until he realised there was too much evidence?

Flanagan will be gone. Why stay when all others are jumping overboard before the rats have finished their meals. If the Dragons thought that Flanagan was the bees knees and wanted him as the head coach before they re-signed Hook, they had the chance but probably thought not good enough and Young Snr is waiting for 2024 for Young Jnr to take over is what I'm thinking.
