Flanno "agreed to terms" as assistant coach and most probably will run the pre-season with the Sea Eagles until Seibold finishes his Union commitments with Eddie Jones.Gooooone
Manly are reportedly set to table Anthony Seibold a long-term offer to replace Des Hasler, while Shane Flanagan will work as his assistant.
The Sea Eagles will offer Seibold a three-year contract and Flanagan has ‘agreed to terms’ on a deal, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
The club are especially keen to get Flanagan to Brookvale in case Seibold honours his commitment to help England prepare for the Rugby World Cup next year.
Funny how this has panned out. I wonder if Flanagan was offered coaching for the Dragons (head or assistant) but he turned us down because he knows how toxic the BOD are. Why Manly for him then? I don't think he and Seibold have worked together before? Has he been offered a good deal or does he just want to be part of the Sea Eagles?
In any case, kick him out now and make sure he hasn't spoken to any of our young guns to defect to the Sea Eagles.
