Apparently Saints will not stand in Flanno's way if he wants to move so the ball is in Flanno's court. Shows that Flanno was not in the conversation of taking over. Or Flanno had no interest in taking over from what he sees at Board level.

I hope the Dragons dont stand in his way, If Brownie's interested and available, lets get him, it's got to be better than hearing nothing, and we know that Brownie's heart would be in the right place and my thoughts of him ripping the club off wouldnt exist as they have with Flannagan.

Flanno would need to be released from his current contract by the Dragons wouldn't he? They knocked back Bud and Sloan, maybe they will knock back Flanagan.
Already signed, sealed and delivered OED as per SEN report but not officially on Sea Eagles website so, not official but looking like it.

It is very interesting as to why the Dragons did not, have not and possibly will not get him as the Dragons' Head Coach. Either they don't see him as the future and/or he doesn't want to coach at the Dragons and/or he knows that that head coaching role is earmarked for Young Dean. Flanagan does have a get out clause in his Manly contract if a head coaching job becomes available for him that would suit him.

So, now we await official word about Brown coming back to us. His heart will be there for us for sure which will be so good.

Agree Dave, If we do get Brown he may not have been a great coach but I reckon he has a good eye for talent, and no matter what he always spoke home truths, and thats exactly what we need across the whole club. He has said he's not interested in coaching again and that should allow him to totally focus on R + R, come back Brownie !!! I'll welcome you with open arms !!

Agree David.

I think Flanno's papers have been stamped regarding HC.

Welcome Brownie.
