A shame, but it could be a good thing if someone comes in with a bit more experience in both the running of a football club, and dealing with times like these.

Irvine did well with what he had to work with and the circumstances with which he held the position, but if him leaving means we get a bit more professional, then that is good?

he has worked hard i am sure.

he has done his best.

and i thank him for his contribution.

it is a shame that it had to end this way for him and the sharks.

however it seems that his cost cut stratego we thought was working clearly has not.
obviously massive failures at all management level.

He's gone. It's a crying shame that our club is being destroyed by actions said to be instigated by politicians for their own selfish ends. We're really in BIG trouble. Sure we have the development....but we need funds now to run the club. We've lost several million dollars in sponsorship and support due to this politically driven issue. Unless a kindly benefactor comes to the fore we could be in BIG, BIG trouble.
Waddyameen `could be', Popper? We ARE in big trouble.

I understand your point , however...

Lets not forget he doesn't actuially earn a cent working for The Sharks and has his own day job to do to feed his family.

His timing at being overseas was shit as was the comment from him.

He also did a lot of very good things.

This.
The guy got us through the toughest period the club had ever seen for no pay at all.
He loves the club.
He has handled the current situation badly.
Should be remembered for being a great Sharks man.
