Usually I don't miss a chance to sink the slipper into Timmah... but he's not being hypocritical.

His reaction re origin would be because Gallen has got off scot-free from racism. Ward has suffered punishment for his actions, and that's the difference.

Look at all the keyboard hero's going going off without even having ANY evidence to prove Gallen actually said anything.. Old Paea didn't look too upset at the end of the game, shaking Gallens hand and having a few laughs.
And for all you people who are saying Gallen isn't worthy of a NSW selection. I suggest you actually watch a Cronulla game. It is pretty obvious he is single handedly carrying the team by himself.

Gallen getting away with this looks like the NRL is turning a blind eye (deaf ear?) to what happened.

The administration in Barry Ward's day dealt with the issue. And that is all that is expected today. Barry Ward apologised and paid the price. Move on.

Any excuses about official complaints, who the complaint has to come from etc look exactly as they are - poor excuses.

Where have I said I support Barry Ward? His actions were disgraceful and he was penalised for what he did. I didn't support his board election campaign. He's there now, good for him.
