I’ve not listened to a SC for over a month.
This is going to seem aggressive but it doesn't come from an angry place more so a confused one. You called it soft on Friday despite not listening.
I'm not a main character on there but in the last month I've had a go at the Sharkies for the following
- Mace defending Nicho was dumb
- DA on the bench makes no sense
- Highlighted we can cover every position without DA on the bench (IE Sifa/Wilton into centres, Brailey or Cam into halves/hooker etc)
- We showed a gameplan vs Melbourne to play to strengths that I haven't seen since
- The lack of one half standing up when the game was on the line
- Raimens form
- Our kicking mostly sucks
- Lack of Talakai
- How dumb it is to play 3 locks in one game and how nobody else does it
- 2 undersized locks is dumb
- Our bench should be the best in the league and our rotation sucks
- Our attack looking like it has no game plan
- Moving the home game to Perth
- Asking if we depend too much on our backs as our forwards outside of AFB have been shite
- Holding the Steve Rogers cup in Perth
- BHU not holding his form as I expected
- Every time I talk about SS I bring up last year and the Warriors game where he got f**king pants'd
- SS running too upright and getting dragged
That is just off the top of my head. Sam does complain if you listen to his points - he calls out things he isn't happy with but tries to offer a reason why he thinks they do things a certain way.
What else would you like me to be negative on? Genuinely curious as I will explore it. But don't sit there and say it is soft if you haven't listened?
Calling it a soft podcast is like saying the Sharks attack sucks due to Nicho when we put out games with 1 forward making over 100m. Lazy. Fins up started as a joke because "if that dickhead can have a podcast why can't I?"(not about Sharkcast). We all love the Sharkies. Go and create one closer to your vision and people will listen - it is all good. Nobody is more right than the next person.
